  1. Seems like at the time, a lot of Pens fans (and hockey pundits in general) were pretty happy with the trade for EK65. Also, i think the Sharks are retaining $1.5M of his contract, so I guess the cap hit is actually lower than the $11.5M salary. But in the end, I would say he has been a near complete bust for the Pens. I am not a big Pens fan so I am trying to look at this as fair as possible.

  2. It will never happen, but I'd love to see Boston trade for him, somehow. I think Boston has the tools available on its roster now to win, but needs a legitimate top line center. And, the fun thing there is that Boston is setting itself up to need a full-on rebuild in the next few seasons, so Crosby gets the benefit of coming into a team that currently has the tools to win now, the desperation to push them to it before their window truly closes.

  3. Crosby should have left. Everyone in Pittsburgh was ready for it to happen. Montreal or Colorado for sure.

  4. I mean let’s not forget the drop off in scoring was largely of the nhls’s own making. I don’t know how many people remember but the talk in the late 80’s and early nineties was that scoring was completely out of hand and that something had to be done to protect the integrity of the game. So the nhl eliminated the 2 line pass and started to ignore the clutching and grabbing that became prolific in the late nineties and early aughts.

  5. F Crosby. If he wanted a better team he should have aogned for cheaper and told his idiot teammates to do the same. Now they are a team of overpriced vets

  6. Would it be farfetched to think that the guys that took over the team and made it the dumpster fire it is compared to what it used to be, were hired/ paid by other organizations to dismantle that dominant team for their benefit? I wouldn't think that's too crazy of an assumption. Getting paid to slowly and systematically dismantle a great team that couldn't be stopped, while also being paid by said team to try to make it better. I mean, for anyone greedy enough to do something like that I think it would be a win/win situation. Just as long as they aren't exposed. In that situation they would probably either be killed before they could talk or be sued for a nice chunk of wages while still coming out on top financially, you'd think. Idk, I'm sort of just rambling now with my fingers. I love my new keyboard; this thing is smooth as hell. lol

  7. In the Penguins owners defense, other than Guentzel and McCann (sparsely) none of these other guys they traded away did shit in Pittsburgh……

  8. It's what happens when teams are managed by corporate sociopaths or gangsters. Penguins are taking a shit, and this deliberate sabotage should be "illegal". It's been a thing for a hundred years, but now it appears far more commonplace; like as a method some appear almost reliant upon it. The Blues for example seem to be blatantly following in the footsteps of Chicago, trading everyone off and tanking to get a higher chance at a first overall pick like Bedard. It's fucking stupid, toxic, and nobody wins except some shitbag owner.

Also yeah, Sid to Colorado would be fucking epic! More profound than the Bourque trade to land him a cup before he retired. Biz keeps tweeting it, and I think most just think he's being funny.. because it is, but it's a necessary call-out for a slew of reasons whether Biz has thought it through or not. Your video being one of them; especially if players on the upper echelon do it to send a message. But culturally it makes a lot of sense. Though sports require a lot of hard work and training, they should still be fun for everyone. And Crosby and Mack are besties, so playing together should only be natural for limited runs… er, natural in a different universe where money and greed aren't dictators over player's heads and owners have some form of ethics.

  9. Crosby’s fault for signing in Pittsburg he knows there not good and signed there anyways

  10. Will crosby request a trade to a contender to help his team start a rebuild, while giving him one more shot at a cup?

  11. Crosby on the avalanche would be crazy to see, but it’s hard to think of him ever wanting to leave Pittsburgh. Captain goes down with the ship 🙁

  12. Such a shame to see him finish his career like this. You hit the nail on the head with this video 👍👍

  13. Crazy watching some of the old highlights and its stuff you see all the time now in the NHL. Literally the start of an Era

  14. No, he's isn't. Stop peddling a false narrative to push an agenda.

  15. Crosby's been angry at the Pens for a while now. He is a consummate captain, always trying to drag his team up whenever he's on the ice. Problem is, for all he tries, everyone else is not aging as gracefully, and the management doesn't want to shake up the core. It's been a good four or five years of Crosby trying to put a bad team on his shoulders and carry it forward, to mixed results. Anyone would be frustrated by that.

  16. I'm an islanders fan, and there have been games that I couldn't find on TV anywhere. Islander games were even available on a college radio station, with students doing play by play. Nobody wanted to broadcast their games.

  17. Great video! If Sid were to be traded, I would root for whatever team he went to and continue to love and support him!
But I love the Penguins exclusively!

  18. Crosby is just such a class, selfless athlete. It’s a shame the organization isn’t anything like him. It’s always the humble getting exploited. Love ya Sid🔥
