I have totally lost any interest in this Wings' season. I feel absolutely no desire from the GM or owner to give the fans a good product. They couldn't care less so I don't care about the team anymore either. The best they can do from now is tank. Trade everyone who has any value, except the core.
Keep Lalonde, he sucks. It will help the team finish as low as possible. Maybe we can win the lottery for once. I think the only team right now that is worst than the Wings is Chicago and they might get better than us with a new head coach. So, just sell what you can and play all those overpaid and washed up vets. They suck so much that it'll maybe a blessing in disguise.
I'm a lunatic, so I will spend hours very day saying Lucas Raymond is the reason the Wings suck. Please play 37 yr old more because their best forward SUCKS!
I haven't thrown Lalonde under the bus 'til this point but now… We shouldn't be this bad, something is holding the offensive back and I guess it is the tactics, not saying it will save this team but… As soon as I got the game on – 10 seconds, Senators score🙀 (watching from Sweden), falling asleep and waking up in the third and DeBrincat scores in the pp. Actually getting my hopes up as the pk "works" and the last 2 minutes starts with uncontrollable waves back and forth ends with another disappointment.

They're hard to watch now, especially since these losses have been so close. We're missing the spark that allowed them to win these tight games last season. Hopefully Yzerman can make a few moves soon to get the team back on track before it's too late.

As someone who always try’s to look on the bright side and keep optimistic about this team… I think tonight’s game broke me. This simply isn’t a good team and they’re also not fun to watch. A couple bad calls by the refs, but the PK actually wasn’t the problem for once. They just can’t score. This offensive system is a joke. This team is actually talented and fast but they try to win games 2-1 every night and it just makes no sense. Whatever
Lalondes system at work again. They couldn’t care less to be out there wearing the winged wheel. Half of the team doesn’t give a damn, they’re just collecting a paycheck. I take that so personally as a fan. I just don’t understand how you can take such a large step backwards. This team is a bunch of no heart, passionless, participation trophy LOSERS. The “difference maker” is 5v5 scoring. Which falls on Lalondes putrid system.
The losing to bad teams by one goal makes you a bad team! Seider and Ed looked like they weren't modivated.

Only demoralizing if you are expected to win. This team/organizatiion of clowns are not expected to win, so what do you expect to happen. Just horse-hockey from the top to bottom.
Can we agree that Copp and Compher are not the right guys for our team, or at least for this system. We're paying them more than $10m combined and they've got 0 goals in the past 15 games….. Neither of them are big scorers at the best of times and if they are being deployed as shut down centres, they aren't very good at that. The roster has been badly managed.
I thought this game would be chippy with a few scrums. No the way Detroit tip toed around the outside making it easy on Ullmark. At least Husso wasn't a sieve he was decent and kept them in.

23:55 I said the same thing to a sens fan last night. Just because we killed all 5 penalties and none of their goals were pp goals, does not mean it didn’t have a negative impact on the game! When you’re down a man you are defensive minded. Because of the lack of calls our way we spent 1/6 of the game not even focused on offense. That’s a big deal

This is the regression year. As a fan it sucks. As a team builder it is to be expected. We know these paths aren't linear. I will lose faith in Stevie if he bungles signing elite free agents. That unfortunately is a few years off. The Wings have Mazur, ASP, Danielson, MBN, Cossa (possibly Lombardi and Buchelnikov) on the way. That talent with a rising cap and veteran (boat anchors) leaving is enough for me to remain on board. As far as Lalonde, I'm less confident.
Feel like a lot of our woes comes from us not matching the other teams desperation. Maybe we need a guy like Adam Lowry that tries to get his team going by throwing some big hits and making the other team second guess their entries. We have zero physicality. Everybody loves playing us because we don't punish them for playing against us. I feel like we're built like the 2017-2018 Canadiens.
I'd like to see some players publicly pissed off afterwards. If Tortorella was the coach (not advocating it mind you) he'd repeat "We suck". And we do.
Now it's getting ridiculous. We still have a useless coach in lalonde and I'm starting to wonder. Does yzerman enjoy seeing us in this position? This is the red wings!! An original 6! We deserve a real coach. Lalonde is useless!!! Just fire the guy

Wings fan since early 90s (thanks Probert!) I refuse to or ever will allow myself to view this abomination of a team to be considered canon Detroit Red wings. It’s an insult to the legacy of the Wings that these bums are allowed to wear the uniform. The garbage company patch speaks volumes. The sharks have always been my second favorite team and man are they a lot of fun to watch this season. They check ever box you want in a hockey game. The wings are dead to me now, I don’t watch them anymore and actually find joy in this losses. Until they wake up they deserve every loss they get. Let’s go Sharks!

Their offense is painful to watch. When they actually do score, it's almost never from the rush or a good passing play. It's dump and chase over and over again.

I haven’t seen seider be as dynamic as he was in his rookie year, that is Lalondes fault, he has taken the cojones from the best players on our team and stapled them to the playoff drought, this team needs to make a coaching change, and we need a competent 2 d pair before we can confidently play better again, this team got worse defensively WITH the addition of Simon edvinsson, and AL- Jo is playing way better than any of our bottom 4, something needs to happen

I don't agree with your assessment on the GWG. Sieder did not engage the puck carrier allowing him to skate to the hash marks and take an uncontested shot. I don't blame the goalie. You ever try to stop a wrister from a rushing forward letting go of a sniper shot? Attack the puck carrier near the blue line and that shot isn't taken.
