  1. IDK about being better next year. The big 3 free agents they got were on the older side when signed. Next year they'll be a year older and I don't think that'll fare well for the team

  2. I’m just about tapped out for the season as a Preds fan. I saw them get blown out by the Devils on Monday after spending $500+ on glass seats and that was the loss that broke me. I have never felt this miserable about an NHL season in my time following the team

  3. Shouldn't expect any of the prospects from the 2025 draft to be immediate
top contributors. It's a week class and they probably all need a few years to develop fully.

  4. They dont need a full rebuild.

The chemistry is terrible right now but it can be built up with time.

They have a ton of cap penalties right now, including the not completely resolved Johansen situation in Philly (the cap they haven’t used yet). About half that cap is freed next season.

Obviously better or different coaching would help, because the numbers you mentioned are inexcusable … this squad on paper doesn’t belong with the Blackhawks or Canadiens of this world.

1 or 2 other good moves wouldn’t hurt.

  5. Looking in on from a neutral perspective- I’m thinking it’s also the league slowing figuring out Saros’ game as well. Don’t get me wrong most teams would love having him but I think that a lot of teams study the tape on him and have slowly figured out how to beat him more efficiently because he is such a beast in net

  6. They went out with a massive boatload of money during the off season and went shopping for all the older brand name players.

  7. I’ve tuned out when it comes to them. I want to go to a game, but it seems like such a waste of time

  8. Steven Stamkos calling out his team for lack of work ethic is pretty hilarious. Stammer has been nothing but a power play specialist for a few seasons now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he retires after this year.

  9. They traded away Askarov and Tomasino + Waived Fabbro and all of them have good start with their new teams ( Tomasino 2 goals in e games/ Askarov .927 in 2 games and Fabbro with 3G,3A,6pts in 9 games and a +14.

  10. Goes to show, big names, big stars are only impressive on paper, not in practice. At the end of the day, NOTHING beats chemistry and speed.

  11. Great channel bud. There aren’t enough decent hockey channels other than Hockey Psychology & The Hockey Guy, and another i can’t find anymore ever since I lost my old account.
