Edit: With Woll's second start, his 4.08 GAA gets cut to 2.50GAA, and his SV% jumps from 0.846 to a reasonable 0.902 SV%. And we all know it's projected to go up. We all know Woll has a high ceiling, and an 'average/good' year from him would be a 30-35GP season with a SV% of about .910 to .915. I think that's realistic, and I think it's what Leaf fans and his coaches expect. But a ''disastrous' start as some pundits would say for Joey Woll gets flipped around in a single game. It's just crazy how fast narratives change.
Last note: you can tell AM34 wanted that goal tonight. He's such a good shooter, and on home ice, he knows he's making it even at 150feet, banked off a wall at a 90 degree angle.
