Hog's cap hit is only 1.1M this year. You are not going to get a good dman in return at a 1.1M cap hit. Unless Hronek does a Mark Stone and LT-IRs himself the rest of the regular season, Canucks can't afford a 6M+ player back in return for Hoglander. All this Hoglander trade talk is hogwash. He belongs on bottom 6 this year cuz the Canucks have way better players than last year (no more Mikheyev, Lafferty, Kuzmenko). His job this year is to forecheck, hit and draw penalties, scoring is just a bonus unlike last year where they needed him to play top 6 and score.
