Maybe you would have been even better with him being their being a mentor. Maybe the Sedin sisters could have even learned how to win with Messier being in your office. This reminds me every time I hear something about how Messier was the best leader, best captain, best role model. I don't deny many of his achievements and overall impact he made, but there was also a significant negative side of his career due to his huge ego. I really do believe you will learn something similar about Yzerman or even Sakic. For me Stevie Y is definitely a better role model and leader despite maybe not having so many trophies as Messier.
