i loved the guy but just as it was with goody, he needed to be moved due to cap reasons, if he didnt play so bad and hav such a bad contract id like to hav kept him but hopefully he finds some success in anaheim or elsewhere

I like Trouba, but I think he was a small fish in a big pond.
As a canes fan, hate him as a player. But you can't help but like him as a person.
No matter how badly hes been playing according to the "experts" I was one not wanting Trouba to get traded for the simple reason that he was the ONLY Ranger to actually body-check opposing players and show some toughness & grit, good luck with the Ducks
He was a decent player but these last few years he was overpaid for his skill level declining. Simple as that. Need money off the books. Now moving Kreider is just silly! He always shows up, especially in playoffs.

As a Ducks and a hockey fan, I hate this fool, but I guess I'm happy he's with us than in a different team. I dont see him improving us that much, but it's a pretty low risk trade tbh.

Trouba is kind of a diva…. Bailed on Winnipeg Because of the city and has a clause he would only play in certain cities. If he loved NY and playing for the Rangers so much why did he not sign for less and finish out career there.

Good luck in Commifornia now the Rangers can tag a real captain instead of a low IQ hockey player. I’m not sure why JT was picked as the captain but it’s great the salary is gone. The Rangers defense has been invisible since this guy headed up the weakest part of the Rangers team. Now let’s let some of the kids get JTs playing time and start winning again. 40 shots on goal a game is no recipe for success. Now if the Rangers can get rid of the other highway cone (Miller) they’ll have a chance to compete for a cup

They didn't support their players when ridiculous calls were made. They were afraid of another $250,000 fine from fascist Bett365man. Half of the called head contact and elbow calls against the club should not have been penalties. NHL is more and more becoming less of a sport and more WWE styled entertainment.

Trouba is a great player. He played with a big heart, tough, stuck up for his team and teammates. As a Ranger fan, It sucks the Ranger Organization is such a piece of KAKA. Victim of signing a contract that was too much money for his ability. If his contract was matched up with his playing ability he could still be a Ranger. Great player…just not $8mil a year great.
