@Capitals de Washington

This year they haven't been good at all on break aways/ shoot outs. Gotta get that back

  2. Was a good game. Young team playing not to loose instead of playing to win. They aren’t there yet. And all the brakeaways missed hats off to Thompson

  3. I wanted Tom to get a hatty so so badly! He was a warrior the whole night! As a caps fan I have no clue why we are doing well at the moment

  4. Its definitely interesting reading other teams fans explaining why their team lost. The Caps were putting so much pressure on the puck in the Ozone (which is how you get breakaways, when the dmen pinch in to keep the puck low) that it was just too much for the Habs defense to stave off. Especially in the Third.

  5. Why not do a story on how cole gets 17 to 18 mins a game and Leon d get 23 to 24 mins a game no wonder we haven't had a 50 goal man In 37 years we are pathetic

  6. The problem in every single game is finishing the work, they can’t score when they so much chances

  7. Way too many missed breakaways and for that I agree, didn’t deserve the win. A close second reason for me was chewbacca aka Savard. The giveaways in their own end, by a veteran of all players when it’s 2-2 with under 10 to go, just can’t happen….similar kind of disappointment as when they tied the rangers 3-3 and lost with 22 seconds left. Bah. Next year though, right?! Lol

  8. Montreal came out flying from the first second to the last of the first period… they looked incredible! Then momentum was broken and things came back down to earth, but still! If they could play a full 60 minutes like that theyd be a cup contender hands down

  9. they got goalied last night…. it was fun to watch. Price/ Roy/ Dryden we have goalied sooooo many teams over the years. And I danced a little jig each time. I see now what you were saying last year Matt. They are still a couple moves and a couple years from being in the mix.

  10. And Canada took Montembeault over Thompson!
In the late game Skinner did the same to Binnington.
Did team Canada’s execute use a blindfold and dart board to pick net minders?

  11. As a Caps fan, I don't care who the opponent is: they can't survive defensive lapses to anyone.
Granted, they played the night before.
Tighten the d and minimize those lapses.

Habs played good enough to win.
Just missed opportunities on those breakaways sealed their fate.

  12. I gave up on slaf hes not a true number 1pick. if he constantly makes a line more Terrible. Then he needs to get scratched so he knows he is not doing something right! Because hes only puck watching and hes not gonna get anywhere.

  13. I knew the minute the fans started singing the "goodbye" chant late in the first period the habs would crap the bed… you get a tired team on the second night of a back to back, at home, with a 2 goal lead after the first period, 5 breakaways in total and you loose… there is talent on this habs team but very little "heart"!! …PS; Bring back Luke Richardson!

  14. habs remind me of the maple leafs of a few years ago. great talent upfront, terrible defence, and mediocre goaltending

  15. That interference call on Anderson was 50/50. From one angle it looked like he blocked the other player and from another angle it looked like the player initiated contact. Unfortunately the ref had the wrong angle.

  16. Les Habs are just freakin' snakebit. Call in the high bama lama from the Notre-Dame Basilica to perform an exorcism. Ghost of Clarence Campbell is on the loose.

  17. Last night only proved to me how much I miss Lekky. If he got one of those breaks ain't no way he's not scoring. They did play well last night, but just so frustrating they couldn't convert any of those chances.

  18. Jeez Tom Wilson what a beast. When I saw him back I was shocked. Then the game winner and I’m like fuuuu- but gawd damn Wilson, claps.

  19. Looked like Wilson from the Caps had Wilson from Cast Away stuffed in his cheek.

  20. wait is hotdog storage locker a euphemism for the thing that tom wilson puts penises in? (aka his mouth) lol
