MASSIVE Trade INCOMING…

  1. Pens fan…wanted Hoglander since last season. Think he fills out the Malkin line (and will explode with someone as creative as Geno setting him up left and right). Geno has played with bums the last few years & Tomasino looks like a godsend. Hoglander would make Geno's line so much more dangerous. Playing DOC (a bum who cant finish) on Malkin's wing is a freakin' joke.

  2. Heading into the 19' draft, there were reports, linking Hoglander to Pittsburgh, seemed like a Sully type guy, but JR went with Poulin.

  3. Is it an overpay if the pens get hoglander, a late pick in 2026 or 2027 (not both) and bains or raty?? especially with what what stay at home D on expiring contracts may command. pettersson has played with both letang and karlsson so he can fit anywhere. JR likes to make moves prior to the deadline so the player gets acclimated earlier. And when he wants a player, thats it, there is no changing his mind. I am guessing that vancouver and edmonton are leading the way for bidding so thats why i am saying a player, pick and prospect.

  4. To PIT: Hoglander, Forbort, Desharnais, Woo and 2nd round draft pick
To VAN: Marcus Pettersson and St. Ivany

  5. Hoglander trade comp would be Cody Glass… VAN will have pay to get rid of 3x3m
    1:1 for MP28 lmao!

  6. I'd be ok with seeing Pettersson go, throw in Shea for good measure and get an extra pick too.

  7. their is a trade coming but its not the one you have mentioned. Nice try but hoglander is not bringing back anything of note

  8. Canucks have 4 contracts up next season that as of now, are must haves for the future. Suter is an incredible depth scorer, Boeser is a 40 goal scorer, Brannstrom was acquired for nothing but is now the canucks 3rd best Dman and Lank the tank has given the team a solid chance to win every time hes in net.

Hoglander in comparison has done nothing but take costly penalties. His 3mil contract can very useful to get these players to resign.

  9. Bro Petey is an underrated stud. He gets overlooked throughout the league because he’s playing with a bunch of turds on the blue line, but he’s consistently been the most reliable player outside of Sid the last couple seasons. He’s an anchor, great in the room, smart, scoring more and more. I don’t like this trade considering we are already the worst defensive team in the league. But who knows maybe we can score our way into some wins with a young buck like Hogs😂 would be exciting to see Hogs and Tomasino grow together too.

  10. How about Forbort and Desharnais for Graves? All are busts at this point and need a change of scenery. lol I suppose we could toss Hoglander in and get a draft pick back.

  11. Petterson & Poulin for Hoglander, ‘25 1st, ‘26 2nd or Hoglander & Lehkermakki for Petterson, Poulin, & ‘26 3rd

  12. If there really is a riff with JT Miller, how about Miller and Hollander for Crosby and Peterson… Miller is a Pittsburgh kid.

  13. This is just delusional. Hoglander scored 24 goals all of them 5v5. Canucks aren’t down on him. If they move him for a need, in what world is it the Canucks having to add picks for an aging bottom pairing defenceman? For reference, Zodorov cost a 3rd and a 5th. I won’t even touch somehow linking Jireck as a comparable.

  14. Dubas is a fraud . No pro or former pro athlete is going to respect some spreadsheet socialist who looks like doesn’t trim his pubes

  15. Watching from Texas. I grew up in Pittsburgh and have been a hockey fan for life. I don't see Vancouver doing this. Petterson would be a great addition to the Canucks but I think it could be a multi-player (Petterson and Poulin) for Hoglander and a pick scenario.
