Wings folks, Lalonde has no idea how to get players on the correct line to gel. He changing the lines to whoever is scoring or is skating well. Has absolutely nothing to do with chemistry which is what the pro game is about. He needs to be GONE! Totally clueless and it shows on the ice, especially at the blue-line, horrible!
Sabres still can’t play defense with any regularity. Blind passes to the opponent and a lack of coverage in front of the net. What happened to the “be hard to play against” concept? Apparently not a priority.

Power then gives up a stupid cross check penalty against Berggren, Red wings score. Quinn, who looks like he's regressing, then shoots the puck over the glass, Red Wings score. The sabres are one of the best in the league at finding ways to lose against average hockey teams, hence why they are an average hockey team themselves. Cozens looking more and more like an AHL player who's signed through 2030 on $7.1m, Yikes!

Talbot needs to play as much as possible. Lyon is terrible. Also this is a classic Lalonde game. So sick and tired of the wings playing scared and not to lose instead of stepping on the gas and going for the W. They managed to hold on but I'm super disappointed with this team after the encouraging run at the end of last year. Offensively we look very inept and let's not even talk about the defensive breakdowns or atrocious 5 on 5 play.
