@Avalanche du Colorado

1. Hope Georgiev finds the fit in SJ that lets him cure his inconsistencies.

That said, as an Avs fan……..👏👏👏👏

  2. Wedgewood and Blackwood. They need to collect all the remaining woods so they can become all powerful.

  3. random canucks fan here, ive been saying for years blackwood can be an elite goalie. I think he's always been on teams with struggling defense but with his poise gained from experience he's, ready to make a run

  4. Not much playoff experience between these guy's so big question mark there. As an oiler fan it looks like a big gamble to me. So we'll see if this is the answer or maybe it's something else, I guess they felt pressure to make a move. Kovelenko has some potential.

  5. I hate the trade because I'm rooting AGAINST Colorado, lol. Givani Smith is an underrated boon to this too, would also hate if they got Crosby somehow like Biz wants, that'd be awesome and I'd hate it, lol.

  6. Sad to see Kovy go, but this had to be done. I'm still amazed by the job Blackwood did last year against a fully healthy Avs team that peppered him with nearly 90 shots, 50+ got through to him, and I think only one got in. When he's on he's on and when he's not he's better than average. Plus I remember the last time my Avs traded a Kovalenko (this one's Dad) for a goalie. That goalie helped lead them to 2 cups in 5 years. His name was St. Patrick of Roy. (not comparing the goalies, just the trade terms, there is only one Patrick Roy).

  7. They should be using Wedgewood as the starter. The dude is a great goalie who needs a chance to be the guy

  8. Why didn't they get a goalie at the trade deadline last season? Why overplay Georgie while Annunen sat on the bench last year. Is it any wonder Georgie was burned out or played into the ground?
He deserves better, good luck to him in San Jose

  9. So the Avalanche goaltending tandem is Wedgewood and Blackwood? Is there a guy named Redwood or Elwood worth a look in the minors?

  10. Avs fleeced SJS here.
Blackwood is a .91 SV goalie on a way worse team with 3gaa, while Georgiev had .874 and 3.38 GAA this season on the better team.
On top, Blackwood is about 1m cheaper in cap.
Kovalenko is the way better RW, but Avs might find a role for Smith in the 4th line as an energizer and goon.
But a downgrade in RW and a 2nd to fix your goalie problem? That`s a nobrainer.
The exchange of 5ths doesn`t matter.

It should have cost the Avs a 1st.

  11. 24-25 Georgiev stats:

.880 or better in 6 of 18 games
    0 consecutive .900 games
    GAA 3.38

    SV% .874

    Brutal.

  12. Incorrect, to get Blackwood the Avs got an unbelievable deal. Gerogie has been literally the worst goalie in the league and the Avs get a solid goalie in return plus more.

    Let's go!

  13. The Avalanche better hope Blackwood will be better with a new team considering how strong the Central Division is.

  14. We had Sherwood a few seasons ago too… and we got 2 woods in a week. Thats pretty good considering

  15. sharks boy here, i feel like we made a good trade for our tending, and i like the draft picks we got alongside it. that said, im surprised they took a 1 for 1 on players , i expected a trade that would let askarov take the net sooner but we’ll see.

  16. lol its like when Roy retired in the mid eartly 00s and Aebischer was his replacment. de ja vu?

  17. Avs fan: holy it’s about time. I’m glad we made this trade. Kovalenko has top 6 potential and it sucks to lose him, but I think Blackwood is definitely worth it. Seems like a great trade for where each team is respectively.

  18. Not convinced this is an upgrade for the Avs but it's definitely not a downgrade and it's good shakeup for the team. Good on the GM for moving quickly and addressing an issue that needed to be addressed and not sticking his head in the sand like some other GMs. Cough…Buffalo…cough.

  19. I don't blame the goalies at all, the avalanche don't have the balls to do what they need to on the blue line

  20. As a Dallas Fan, i'm terrified of Wedgewood being the goalie that beats us. Blackwood is a great goalie that was just playing with bad defenses and was still putting up good numbers. On Colorado, he could be elite with Makar, Toews, Girard. All those guys in front of him.

  21. Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
