Dear Steve CAN U PLEASE STOP CURSING THE LEAFS ON THE PODCAST???? For those of u who don't know on yesterdays SDPN podcast Steve said the Leafs havent had a stinker in a long while. I think this one counts as that stinker. To his credit though he did realize his mistake.
At this point Nhl needs to have a rule that says "If ur'e team is CRAZY INJURED then the salary cap and NHL contracts doesnt matter until ur regulars comeback."
At point do we look at the D and say "Guess what boys? U'RE PLAYING AS FORWARDS NOW!"

I also predicted a stinker.
But who was Robertson covering on the first Florida goal? He was close to the goal scorer but his legs were not moving! Playing like he wants to be traded.
And Traveras was totally off his game which resulted in two goals.
Oh well this was a loss anyone could have predicted!

Yes, at the skill level you need to make it to the NHL, you need heart more than a deep wallet. Ya know, good on Mathews and the like for commanding the money they get – you even deserve it with their skill. BUT, it is not the necessary ingredient to win a cup. Honestly man… I miss the watch a leafs game with dangle nights. I watch the odd recap still, but it’s not the same. I’m sure I don’t speak for myself when I say I wish you would go back to at least doing the playoffs
