There are millions of New Englanders who want to pull the plug on NESN, because the Red Sox and Bruins suck these days. Joe Castiglione and Jack Edwards were on NESN, back when the Red Sox and Bruins were winning, now they're old and about to wither away, just like the Red Sox and Bruins. NESN must go off the air for good, for the sake of the teams' current fates. #FuckNESN
Been saying it all a long, "lets not over-react until we play a good team." We are 0-2 vs. playoff teams in the Sacco era. This team is the same team.
This team can't compete with the real teams.
I don't care how it's done or the fallout, but, Sweeney, the PP guy, E.Lindholm & Swayman need to go.
Lindholm is just the worst 7.75 mil til 2031 contract ever. Sweeney is fucked in the head.
Loved Brads truthful comments after the game, especially about Swayman.
Jeremy Swayman is on FRAUD alert…hiding behind 40 GP the last few years
Quite a hangover after besting" original six teams", which is supposed to mean something😊
Love the Festivus references.
Honestly I turned the game off after the first period. Late goals are so frustrating. The team stopped competing after the Carlo penalty. Made the Jets look like a super team.
Elias Lindholm is quickly developing into the worst signing of Sweeney's horrid tenure and that says a lot. Matt Beleskey…David Backes…Nick Ritchie. NIGHTMARES.
I see Swayman, Elias Linholm and MacAvoy as complimentary players. They are great on good teams when they are not accountable and responsible for being that guy. In fact, watch how well they'll do sans Swayman in the 4 Teams thingie. This is Generation coddle me and there's a tendency to trivialise the work that must be done to work at an elite level consistently. They all want to get paid like they are that guy now, but they're not. And as you know, a team can only pay so may of them to be that guy. OK, you're our #1 at that position; you're up. Yet, all we see is bad habits (eg being out of shape) and full of their own rhetoric. Hearing Swayman say "I can get those" reminded me his negotiations…I can do that so pay me like it now. Note: I go by what they do, not what they say as surely as many people will say anything for millions. OK, then we have the bad camp and lazy practises. What a curiousity. This is not a team- it's a group that is not effective…a step from the pseudo team which the opposite of a high performance team. Get that. Methinks that by the time these overpaid complimentary pieces finally become a semblance of that guy, the bigger question will be: are they healthy; and how long will they be out for? I am fine with pond hockey and taking in the skills of those who have something to put on display. This lot? Yeah…nah. I am just not seeing it this year or next. I'd prefer a solid three lines and decent 4th line than what they've settled for to gain a core that is…not ready for prime time, unless it's on a team that already has one of those players to cover their arse. And ya know what they say about two people who are always in agreement? Yeah, one is probably unnecessary. Saying'… 🤔🤨🙄
8 million ways to suck Swaywoman. So disappointing.
It's tiresome to read people complain about Swayman directing their anger and frustration at the wrong issues. Was at Philadelphia game and saw the same problems against Winnipeg. First 3 goals by the Flyers and Jets had people all alone in very good scoring positons where Swayman or any goalie had any chance to save the puck. After the first 3 goals by the Jets, Swayman did let in goals he should've stopped, he had to be frustrated and abandoned. Biggest issue is horrible defensive play by the Bruin forwards. Bruins taking off to early to go on offense, collapsing in to close on the net, as well as over crowding one side of defensive zone to often leaving the slot wide open. Bill Belichick coach hockey? Stay in your position and Do your damn job!
Sometimes i'm glad I am an old fart thehour difference.Sometimes I fall asleep well.I fell asleep last night.So I guess I didn't much but I woke up.At 621 and I shut the t v off
Good Game GJG!!
Swayman should be playing much better with that contract he complained so much about getting. I don’t think he deserved franchise starter money when he has never been a franchise starter. Also leaves a bad taste in my mouth about him after all that contract drama just to have him be inconsistent and, frankly, not good.
The Pasta "high sticking" wasn't Pasta. The dude smacked himself in the face with his own stick. Otherwise, agree with you.
What you see is what you get, there should be a fire sale come the trade deadline. This team is the result's of bad trades, draft picks and poor upper management decisions. I am not expecting anything fantastic to happen for the rest of the year. We all should have expected this from the start of the season.
Great analysis, totally agree. I am so disappointed in Swayman for not being the guy for us. Same with McAvoy and of course, Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov.
I am pretty worried about how many of these guys just got massive long term contracts. It is starting to look like all three of those contracts are capital "B" BUSTS.
Let's hope we see a return to form of some kind very soon
To be honest, after the start of the season I'm pretty happy with the Bruins. 7-3 right now first game of a road trip and you get spanked… this will get them focused for a west coast swing. Still a new coach and struggling for an identity, and I don't mean Bruins hockey I mean as a group that is united. I expect a couple more of these types of screw ups but how they rebound is more important. Clearly goals where you jump out of your zone before you control the puck is a sign of confusion… if this gets better then no problem… if not then it's time to panic. And Swayman is solid, he seems to be getting stronger as the season goes on… once the team defence starts controlling the defensive zone you will see less problems. They just need to stay in the playoff race and a battle down the stretch will tell if this team has what it takes!
this thumbnail i can't 😂
This team is horrible. It pains me to say so. The top 50% of salary earners aren’t even good enough to play in the top two lines. Complete waist of an enormous amount of money. Not to mention what SweeNeely are getting paid.
Swaymon sucks period after period.
#28 is proof of ghosts.
4 games this season where Swayman has let up 6 goals plus. I am very concerned. Remember Blaine Lacher? Took NHL shooters a season or 2 to pinpoint his weakness and I fear the same is true with Swayman. The shooters are targeting his blocker with great success & at 8.25 million a year this could have far reaching issues for the Bs future.
BOS is slow and take too many undisciplined stick penalties. The top 2 players in the league for penalty minutes are Zadorov and Kastelic. It could be offset if they had high-end skill with their forwards to bail them out. But they don’t have the firepower.
E. Lindholm is projected to score 36 pts this season and currently ranks 150th in the league in points and 142nd in assists.
I fear Lindholm’s past success was because he could be a 3C behind JT Millers 103 points (last year) and Pettersson’s 89 points, facing weaker bottom 6 foes – or if he played winger, be with high-end skill akin somewhat to when he had that monster year sandwiched between Tkachuk and Gadreau (RIP) , although admittedly not comparable. Hopefully he can find his game and gain some confidence.
Typical Bruins hockey. Sucking out when losing big and then picking fights. 😂
swayman waivers
questionable penalties confusion on what icing is and other things that happenec last night would not have really changed the outcome of the game.Swayman has not earned his contract yet. The Bruins are too predictable in almost everything they do, power play exiting the defensive zone ,lazy passes. poor anticipation and recognition of plays and players on the ice. 3 minutes of solid hockey per period will never win a game.
