  1. No, you re-sign a point per game player. It's the coaches fault for npt utilizing him properly

  2. Everyone has been playing unmotivated hockey and finally they get motivated with a cossa showing according to Larkin (a spark he said)
Then they now announced they are sending him back down
This team has a coaching problem not a player problem

  3. yzerman has made the wings the softest team in the league lol

detroit relocate to the pwhl, maybe you will finally make the playoffs over there 🤣

  4. Probably part Kane and part Lalonde utilization. He's been a little bit off on his timing this season, which will probably fix itself as the season goes along… Yzerman's biggest miss is on defense

  5. Not even in hindsight we are a better balanced team without him in the lineup. I’d rather give his spot to one of the kids . At least they will play with a purpose.

  6. It's the system. We don't have the guys for a defense first and always kind of system. We need to let them play to their strengths, and that's scoring.

  7. The mistake was not trading Kane last season, now his value is significantly less. But I still agree with both signings, Kane and Tarasenko, if the intention is to trade at the deadline.

Also, the shootout shot by Kane was tipped by the goalie's glove.

  8. Kane looked great with Debrincat last year, rarely together this year. Kane is great for zone entries and to back off defenders off the PP or 5V5 to create space. The foot speed is isn't there & soft in the corners / board battles. Kane rarely comes out of the corner with the puck. Like Lalonde as the human but, feel like message may be lost, I'm not in the room, just a feel I get from watching. Bob Boughner doesn't get any flack and some fans speculate he'd be a Lalonde successor if Lalonde kicks rocks. That being said I believe Bob Boughner is in charge of the PK and we all know where the PK ranks. Watson get the job if Lalonde is let go?. As far as the D-corp goes wings have a top pair , the fall off from there is rough. Johansson has only seen 14 games and is a -3 not bad considering the D partners , still at 14 games still pretty green. Room to explore AJ where he is at the end of this season. Axel Sandin-Pellikka is producing but maybe a year in GR away?. Seems ready the Skelleftea AIK SweHL numbers are great. Happy for Cossa in Husso mop up duty. I wanted Kane back but this team has been an enigma. Not much net front screen or traffic on the pp and seem to have gone away from the bumper. PP is 7th at 25.6 but if you're not playing with the puck, it's tough to draw penalties. Earlier in the year I believe wings were near the top in drawing penalties oddly enough. Who knows…..I can't get a feel for the team this year….but, not a happy wings fan this year. How about the Seider hits the other day!. Sorry for being all over the place in this comment, watching this team will do that to you. Enjoy the content Lego , still can't figure out what the hell you say in your outro, the fans wanna know!!!.

  9. Yzerman screwed up but can we blame him? We were excited to see Kane and Tarasenko signed. We rationalized that Walman was a defensive liability of some sort based on his performance in the second half of the season. Now there are two underperforming vets and there is a gaping hole in the bottom 4 D. Even the most obvious wins can often disappoint. I think this season is a waste at this point but….ASP, Amadeus Lombardi who's been one of my favorite prospects since he was drafted, Nate, Buchelnikov (maybe). Cossa got his feet wet and Augustine is…. Augustine. Wallinder and Buium are still cooking and you never know if the big guy might take that next big leap and dominate the AHL. Plenty of reason to be optimistic about the future and the recent screw ups won't have much long term impact on the rebuild. In fact, you never know when Yzerman will pull that rabbit out of the hat and trade someone we thought was worth….. Less…. Not worthless but worth less than we thought he could get in a trade deal. Have some faith that not every move will be a loss because so far there have been a sizeable handful of wins too.
