Berube style hockey does kind of require size and pace. Keefe masked the lack of pace a bit, but I think a berube team does rely more on shortening the other teams time to make decisions more so than other coached teams imo

I have really been contemplating them putting Matthew’s on unit 2 and playing him more 5 on 5. It’s the best for the team. Instantly makes unit 2 a threat, and he is the best 5 on 5 goal scorer in the world. Marner and JT should be attached at the hip at 5 on 5 imo

I believe the shots were 27 to 6 for New Jersey after the 2nd period. Stolarz won this game 100%. Toronto needs to find ways to score while committing to the Berube style. This style will win playoff games if they can score goals.
