They actually didn't challenge the Debrusk goal for highsticking. They challenged it for a hand pass thinking the puck hit the glove of Garland. Not that it matters. Good goal.

Tough game to watch, VAN got caved in, especially in the 3rd. Reminiscent of playoffs last spring where somehow they won games with like 12 shots. Joshua looks slow and tentative, lack of training camp really evident. EP40 is fading into the background again. Soucy looked better than usual for this season.

Lankanin won this game. He’s as cool in net as the ice under his blades.
They didn't challenge for a high stick, they challenged cause the puck went off of Garland's glove, which they say is a hand pass. It was a deflection off of Garland's glove (not even an intentional deflection). Those should count, but the league is inconsistent and have called similar plays as glove passes even though there was no intent to pass with the glove.
Swayman had a decent game aswell, definately wasn't tested as much as as lankienen but still held out some decent chances
Glad to see the win, but honestly, a better offensive team would have punished Lank early on those big rebounds. Rebound control much better later in the game.
Hilarious, when debrusk got his goal and like 3 Boston players stared waving their hands up in the air I thought it was funny cause they looked like they're celebrating with the guy that just scored on them. And the fans booed the area announcing that debrusk scored was golden aswell 😊
