  1. Trade Zadorov asap. Get rid of Swayman while he can be traded, go buy a few good centers. Also, pasta looking overcooked and limp this year. Disaster. 2 years completely different team. Bruins fans crying 8,000,000 tears this season.

  2. The B's got bigger and slower.
The League got faster, and leaner. AND INFINITELY more skilled. The Zone is simply NOT a modern game. And Every team knows that the 5 ghuys will stand still and pass to pasta in the slot, for the one timer. So, every team beats it, statistically, over time. Play faster, pass faster, and more crisply.

I am betting Poitras is coming soon. Lindholm is struggling. Maybe a couple weeks to heal up for the stretch will do him a world of good.

  3. It is all swayman’s fault, he held out and caused the team to lose its chemistry (sarcasm).

  4. Hopefully Lindholm is year to year.
There is something off in the dressing room. They are pathetic.
A major shakeup is needed in the lineup, although most of the major guys have NMC

  5. They need to stop screwing around. Trade the guys you are not resigning. Bring up the young’s already see what you got . Get draft picks and prospects.

  6. The best off-season change was the Ullmark trade for Kastelic and Korpi….definitely did not have that on my BINGO card for this season

  7. Throwback game for all the negative things they were doing at the beginning of the season. Just 2 terrible efforts in a row despite a little better effort at the beginning of the 2nd period. Time for some real tough decisions on players roster spots because I don't see anyone who is a guaranteed decision to be in the lineup

  8. Bruins inability to finish and score are making ordinary goalies look like vezina winners. Grubauer had one win prior to last night.
Bruins bread and butter was always their superior goal differential. Where did it go?
Did it leave with Ullmark, DeBrusk, Heinen, Forbort, JVR, Shattenkirk & Gryz? Fans were calling for those guys to be traded every day last year.

  9. Somethings going on inside this team thats a huge distraction and this teams energy is non existent. I'd say a top to bottom rebuild is a much needed change at this point.

  10. I wish they would just call up Lysell, Merk, and Poitras. there's nothing left they can do. if that doesn't work then just tank for Hagens.

  11. Nothing they can do when they can’t defend. They need to get rid of Zadorov but I believe he has a NMC until the next year. Also Swayman I doubt can be traded either. We need Hampus back because he was a great pairing with Carlo or McAvoy. Then I think the best option is to look for people who are fast and aren’t afraid to forecheck hard with no forgiveness. Panthers won the cup because they play a defensive game and forecheck their opponents a lot. That’s what the bruins wanted this year with having bigger defensemen but they also suffered because of this. They need medium sized defensemen that are willing to get into the corners. Sorry for the rant but man they look awful the past two nights and need to see change with everything starting at the GMs

  12. For the Bruins everyday is … Groundhog Day, caught in continual time-loop. Like the movie Groundhog day, the keep repeating the same mistakes over and over , how many times will this cycle repeat itself ! Eventually Sweeny and Neely will be Fired and the new guys will have to sell off this team. But until then I would suggest ALL the Bruins go to Psychotherapy, probably during the 4 nation series. Failing that players who "broken" need to be sent packing. 😢😱😳🌅.

  13. Sweeneys fault. We want 2 get bigger and faster. Well bigger but alot slower. Jets were skating circles around them. Zone defence sucks. Waiving sticks around the perimeter is ridiculous! Too slow to play hybrid. Sweeney screws up the debrusk debacle. Now hes gonna trade picks we dont have and young prospects for 33 to 35 year olds. He has lost touch with todays nhl. Its not 1985 don. Please get fired soon. This team is already wrecked enough.

  14. At some point, they need to realize the window is firmly closed, and embrace the rebuild. Don't wanna turn into one of those perpetual bubble teams, where you always draft in the middle of the round and don't get anything close to an impact player to help turn the club around. Anyone in the final year of their contact, or doesn't have a NMC, should be on notice. Obviously not every single player in those categories will get moved, but nothing should be off the table at this point. Interesting to see the contrast between the Rangers and Bruins and how they addressed their horrific starts. Boston fired a coach who immediately got hired (so obviously, people don't think the coach was the issue) and the Rangers sent a memo to everyone telling them some of the longest tenured Rangers are available. Good on the Rangers for not immediately scape-goating the coach and putting the onus on the players.

  15. Time to blow up this team starting at the top. Neely and Sweeney need to go. Monty should have never been fired. Trade Marchy, McAvoy, Carlo, Wotherspoon, and Coyle. Marchy is NOT a captain. Make Pasta the captain and do a complete rebuild. Swayman way overplayed. It was his holdout that started this ship sinking and he so far hasn't earned any of those big dollars!!

  16. Poitras better be ready to go. Fly him out. Now.
We need Hampus' voice back on the ice.

The difference between Swayman and korpisalo?

As I don't care to get inside any player's head, it was very clear that swayman quit playing.

    He should've lost 1 – 5, I wouldn't have had a problem with the goalie

But he quit playing. That's not fixable.

    I will stop there, Court!
You know how I have felt about Jeremy all along

He could be doing great elsewhere. This is killing his career. He's going to end up playing in Europe at some point.
I feel so bad for that young man.

    I don't think he's enjoying his $10 million.

    We certainly aren't!

  17. Hard to believe that paid professional hockey players
have forgotten how to play hockey.
Bad penalties, bad defense and little to no offence.
I have been a fan for decades…many decades and this stinks.

  18. It's going to be a long season of us either just hanging on to a wild card spot or just outside of it. Whether we make the playoffs or not is a matter of too many factors.
Having said that, get the future on the ice and let them make and learn from their mistakes. Lohriei and Poitras etc need to be in the game to learn. What do we have to lose at this point? Bring up Lysell for an extended period. Be nice to get a longer view of one of Providence's goalies as well.

  19. Honestly, I would rather this team miss the playoffs entirely than get ran out of the rink in 4 or 5. This is not a good hockey club.

  20. The question is how long is Charlie Jacobs going to put up with this sinking ship.
It is heading in the wrong direction and fast.

  21. Sadly, we have a lot more lows to endure. Bring up the kids from Providence, trade away the dead weight…….start the rebuild NOW, starting with Sweeney.

  22. Everything is wrong with the Bruins at this point. Going to take a lot to right the ship.

  23. Well, I have to say, one week into no more paying the monthly streaming charge for NESN and therefore no B’s games to watch unless they are on some national broadcast, it’s paying off. 🤪 I’ll pick it back up if they start showing up but for now, a good financial and sanity decision. I’ll keep leaning on ya for the, well, I’ll say “summaries” because “highlights” would be grossly misleading. 😂

  24. I would bring up as many players as they could without putting a player on wavers on their return.Let the big boys sit out a game or two.. Good luck if you think the current team is going to make the playoffs. Same mistakes made by the same players. every game. There is something wrong with this team, it is broken. No way they should be playing this way 31 games into the season.

  25. I thought the game against Winnipeg everyone was calling for Swayman to be traded. Was last night his fault to. I think not. Did everyone forget how to play hockey from last year. Pasta how many times did he hit the goalie in the crest? Maclvoy did he become color blind. All he does is give the puck to the other team. Bring up Providence young guys. As for the Bruins all should be trade eligible, I don’t see anyone we need to keep!

  26. Monty was never the problem, so I don't know why people expected his firing to change anything. It lit a fire under their asses to beat up on bottom feeding teams, but that's it. Temporary motivation isn't a solution to a deeply flawed roster.

  27. I opted for the Rams vs 49ers game last night. The correct choice. I’m resigned to the fact that the Bruins are a .500 Hockey Club.

  28. They lack speed. They are slow to the loose pucks, they are slow on board battles they are shooting slow and inaccurate. They need to dump the roster and start over. Rebuild right.

  29. I honestly don't know if the Bruins should even be focusing on playoffs as much as roster management at this point. Lindholm seems to be a bust, he's not even producing what you would expect from Coyle, so what was the point of that signing? What would be the point of trading Coyle, other than the fact that he'd be much more desirable to other teams with his cap hit/production than Lindholm? Swayman seems to be a bust and created a rift on the team, and most certainly the fanbase. We've gotten spoiled as Bruins fans during the Chara, Bergeron, Krejci, Rask, etc. era and expect them to be perennial contenders. Bergeron/Marchand along with the emergence of Pasta and McAvoy probably took the core a little past it's expiration date. I guess I'd rather see the Bruins sell off some pieces and get what they can for draft picks to "retool" if not completely rebuild. Happens to the best teams eventually…Chicago being a prime example, fans are suffering through a rebuild now, and had to before the Kane, Toews, and Keith era. I'm hoping they can make the best of McAvoy's and Pasta's prime years. I'd like to see Lohrei continue to develop on the team, and I'd much prefer to see Marshy retire a Bruin…BUT I also couldn't blame him if he wants to chase another cup, and boy oh boy, would there be contending teams chomping at the bit to have Brad's leadership, skill, tenacity and clutch performance on their team for a cup run, and he'd fetch a pretty hefty return. I'd basically feel the same way about Bourque being traded in that scenario. Other than that, I don't really have any sentimental attachment to any player on the roster at this point.

  30. They look so pathetic every game. Passing it along the perimeter aimlessly when they're able to get it in the zone of PP.
