IDK why Rielly is so favoured with this team. The coaches pair this guy up with different partners and he continuously is bad in his own end. Rielly is not a top NHL defence-man, he should not be on the power play neither. The bottom 6 forwards have played well all season, but they need to get on the scoreboard to help this team win.

The team is gone back to its losing ways since Matthews returned…the team chemistry is gone and the only games they have won was because our goaltenders stood on their heads….Matthews is robbing ice time from our hard working players, and as usual folks will say he scored 5 goals in 7 games….. Well marnrr and others did all the work on those goals and Matthews is still a +/- disaster and a cancer that must go …..
Obviously, the leafs are fine without Mattthews in the lineup. They could get top talent for him, and I would go for world class defensemen.

Are Leafs better without Matthews? He figured on 3 goals in a way: one he scored; another one was part of turnover for Redwings goal; 3rd goal would have been Marners if Matthew’s hadn’t been offside(Redwings reviewed it). Marner set up Matthews nicely for his goal- I think everyone gets goals playing with Mitch Marner.
