DJ QUIETLY QUITS HOCKEY
(NYC) Mika Zibanejad, a self-described DJ and part-time ice hockey player, is easing up on his hobby to focus on his primary purpose in life, clubbing.
“Playing hockey several times a week has taken its toll on my record flipping and beer drinking”, states the NY Rangers first-line center. “Coach Pete hasn’t benched me, so I don’t see the point in knocking myself out”.
When asked about the rapid decline of the NHL team employing him, Zibanejad is apathetic. “Hey, we nearly made it to the Finals last season, so that should keep the fans satisfied for awhile.”

Its pretty obvious to me that the NYR are basically giving Drury a big F YOU with the way they're playing. This team doesn't want to play for the man. He's lost all respect from the players with the way he's handled things since the summer.

what is going on? wow. all I know is that as long as new york doesnt win.. toronto maple leafs will be the same. i am happy , leafs are sht. Rangers forever but come guys. This is really a shadow of the team of not just last year , two season ago they were much more gritty and had a will to win. Someone said it better than me, considering that they playe only 5 minutes they did well. And j. quick really did a good job. The habs are not better. Ranges are a good team they are just honestly not playing winning hockey. Not sure what it is? And in case you wonder: I am from Toronto so I hate the leafs.

The Rangers downfall from winning the President’s Trophy last year with a 55-23-4 record to this year has been insane. Last year they didn’t lose their 14th game in regulation until January 18.

Yeah teams will put up their president's trophy banners but they usually don't put "regular season champions" on it and have a huge ceremony as if they won the cup like the rangers did to start this season 😂🤡 clown show and Chris Drury putting out the memo saying Rangers are open for business was the icing on the cake as that has impacted the locker room morale and trading trouba.
