Drury was an average player. If he trades Kreids he’s dead to me.
Dolan only cares about the Knicks. He thinks the Rangers are #1 in the Metropolitan Division.

FIRE DRURY
Fire Drury and Lavi and gut the place. Its not the players, its woeful management. Lavi is decent but we are too far gone to not fire him to.
Of course Dolan is okay with Drury, he'd rather waste time in the playoffs and make money off of tickets instead of rebuilding the team properly and having several lottery pick jerseys to sell and potentially a 7 year run of dominance

This is not on Chris Drury. He got rid of Trouba for a reason and more need to follow him out the door. This team of "players" have been soft for too long and drastic measures have been needed for a while. No matter how much these players may hate their boss, they are getting paid truckloads of money to play the sport they love. They need to grow a set of balls, start being physical and stop being a bunch of whiny brats.
The Rangers wrote a letter to fans several years ago they were rebuilding. Problem is, they never did. They got lucky with high end prospects they took forever to develop and overpaid players on contracts not named Panarin and Igor. You now have a soft, folding team who peaked and won’t compete.

This core is a bunch of P***y NHL players, you get paid millions of dollars to play hockey, they all know this is also a business and the GM job to find ways to make this team better and to contend for a championship, The ranges need to get rid of this core and start over. This team is no longer a playoff team.
While Drury has caused this mess, Kreider, Zibanejad and Fox are soft and weak and show zero leadership and accountability.However they don’t care check still clears….

NHL players have become soft, spoiled, arrogant, prima donnas. Many other teams are going through this, Boston for one. The game, and the people who play it, have changed.
If they can get value for Kreider, Lingren or Kakko, then great – trade them. They're not making the playoffs this season, let alone contending for a Cup. Kakko will have success with a team that deploys him correctly and puts him in a position to succeed, which the Rangers failed to do.
Drury is SO overrated
But let's be honest this franchise has been overrated and has had to been saved by premier goaltending And Timely Power Play Special Teams work we are absolutely atrocious five on five and that's why we're always exposed deep into the playoffs when it matters the most.
We really need an overhaul, build it around the young guys in the very few older guys who know how to play five on five. Draft some young defenseman we're getting really lean back there with few of the young guys on the current team that you can really count on game in and game out.
Of course you can always just try to dump as much cap and then sign/trade for a big name in the off season, which of course this team is most likely to do and repeat the process over and over……

Last time I checked there was a hard cap in the NHL. If this group of whining players wanted to keep Trouba and Goodrow, they should have refused raises for this season and next. This core has won NOTHING, show them the door.
This team was that close to possibly blowing a 3-0 series lead to Carolina last season n needed a heroic performance by Kreider to prevent that possibility from happening, that should hav ben the 🚩. All they did was sweep 70 yr old Ovi n the awful caps

I remember years ago when he was Captain and the Rangers got their tails whooped on Christmas and CD said he wasn’t bothered about the piss poor showing for the fans. It’s on video tape. The Rangers are cursed ever since Pablo EscoSather took the helm and traded away fan favs Leetch and Graves who should have retired as Rangers. 30 more years for the cup if we are lucky
