I don't think there is only a Miller vs Pettersson problem with Vancouver. The chemistry is really bad and it has been left to fester, permeate and infect almost the entire organisation. Looks like no one is man enough to adress it or call it out.
Constant talk and rumours about trade do not help the situation either.
You can have the best players on the roster, but it mean nothing when they are miserable.
There are a big bunch of egos in all teams, the trick is to make them respect, care and play as a team with whomever it might be.
That's why you need a good coach that know's how to herd cat's.

JT and Petey need to pickup their games. Where is shots on goal. Need to find their speed. Goalies on Canucks are awesome. We need defense and offense.
Hronek’s value to the Canucks is very high and you can tell they miss him badly. There’s not much to say about this team either anymore because it’s the same problems all season.
If you're gonna talk about Hughes, Sherwood, Bleuger and Lakinen you have to add Garland to that list.
Deaner, don’t know if you’ve ever heard or considered this but I’m of the opinion Tocchet is the kind of coach that won’t let Petey play the kind of game that Petey knows how to play…I don’t know how this is over the heads of all the fans. From the time he entered the league he was under a few of coaches while on this team but he was always encouraged to ‘play his game’. Peteys game is not tocchets style nor is his coaching enabling Petey to get the best out of him. It’s obvious he’s afraid to fuck up with the puck and confident moves he would do in past years….not to mention tocchets intimidating to a guy like Petey, no doubt. Not to mention Miller calling him out talkin trash he’s a baby. It’s forced him into his shell. And this is aggravating both Tocchet and Miller. It’s not a stretch to say Tocchet favours Miller either. It’s obvious. And how is no one pointing out Petey has dropped off significantly since Tocchet took over. You never hear anyone putting the obvious together…my two cents but they make more sense than what most guys allude to out there talkin about this situation. I’d bet a grand Petey would get back to form if Tocchet was replaced. A load of the shoulders and give him free reign to be creative and confident again. Millers a head case and it’s clearly fuckin with chemistry and dynamics in that locker room!

The number of excuses for an 11.6 million dollar player is unreal. He's the 5th highest salary in the league while sitting 110th in points and 56th in goals. I'd take Miller in a dogfight every time. Hughes and Hronek "ARE" the Canucks defense, so you take even one of them out and this team is toast, no depth what so ever. In saying that though they need to score more than one goal a game………………………….SIGH!
It's frustrating to watch only a handful of guys playing their hearts out when you have top heavy slow ass free loaders lumbering about like our whole D does (except for Hughes obv.). Like Soucy can barely control the puck when he has it. Seriously, he's a professional?
