  1. that happens when there is actually quarterback capable to pass to Laine

  2. How many guys in the league can shoot that hard and accurately ? Id say maybe 2 … 5 max

  3. He isn't called a sniper for nothing. His shot is very accurate yet powerful enough to shoot sticks to pieces.

  4. … And people thought Finland had gone crazy to take Laine on the 4 Nations.. The guy is just getting better when he restores his cardio after 1 year off. He made 2 super passes also (like the one with empty goal, 2nd assist). It would be 1+2 if he had better linemates in 5vs5

  5. Its great to see him be lethal on pp but i just wish that he could do something 5 on 5.

  6. My only concern here is that Laine has that left side slot now and not Caufield. As you know Caufield's goal production has dropped off so not great news for him. Yes he's been on the PP and setting up but I hope this doesn't hurt his game for scoring is all.

  7. The talent has always been there, really pulling for him to put it all together. We all mature at different rates and some people take longer than others. Pro Athletes are no different.

  8. At this point if I was killing the power play I would assign someone on laine and take my chances 4 on 3 lol

  9. This time the opponent knew what was coming and tried to block the shot – Unfortunately, it was Laine's shot.

    RIP the stick

  10. Laine is a PP (Power Play) genius and majority of his goals were on/during these occasions. He's already on a hot start when he is with the Habs, CBJ underutilized him, and I'm starting to see him as more of a goal score like he was when he was with the Winnipeg Jets. I'm saying all this even if I'm not even a Montreal Canadians fan. KEEP IT UP LIANE!!! HOCKEY 🏒🥅 🚨
