What was your highlight from the game?
Monday against the capitals.Let's see how we do
Thanks for the recap. Fair and funny as usual. I would like to hear your opinion on the
goal horn, which has become so popular in recent years. It may have been a good idea during the pandemic, but now it's simply annoying. You pay good money to go to a game, so let the fans roar and sing! Get rid of the stinking goal horn once and for all. Thoughts?
This could have been a "trap Game" coming off the road, but they won. They can't play this way for the next game against the Caps.
Thanks for keeping it real. That was the definition of a lackluster effort.
Sorry guy but" he was a little leaky" Man now you are hunting for negatives. Guy walked in clean and shot from like twenty feet.
We're trending to becoming a middling team. After being spoiled for so long this isn't good but considering how we started the year it is good. Sound confusing? You bet!
If thats the best we can do with Buffalo then I'm really nervous about the Caps game coming up. As for the horns, I think this year it's designed to wake up the crowd!
we would love to have dahlin on our squad…just sayin the sabres have hooked us up in the past……..lmao…..good game what can i say after the seasons start. Hoping everyone has a great holiday season regardless of how these guys play though!
A dangerous game
Maybe its just me, but Pasta seems to be mailing it in. Even in the game when Pasta scored the overtime goal, if you watch the 20 seconds before the goal, Pasta is dragging ass. Pasta at times seem to be just gliding along, more than usual.
The B’s and Saber’s games have never been a given win. For whatever reason the Saber’s play the B’s tough. I’ll just take the win. Frederic is a problem right now -13 with 5 goals. He’s not even worthy of a good trade right now. Monday night should be interesting. Caps are no joke. After 35 games my expectations are lower for the B’s. I think they make the playoffs but watching the Panthers play a few nights ago they’re a superior team.
If they would have played anyone else it would have been bad!!
Agree, really disappointing, 18 shots, not many scoring chances against a terrible team. The Bs are playing a bit better under Sacco but it's still not good.
For me, Kastelic & Beecher are the guys I like watching on this team. Their skill level is not elite, but they both skate well, take the body and get pucks deep. I wish they would reunite Koepke with them
Totally expected the sabres to break the streak last night.
Trap games are real.
I always remember a couple of examples from my kids’ travel days where they looked like they were playing in mud after an out of town tournament playing a half dozen games in a weekend then face some bottom feeder and either lose or barely win. It happens and that’s why you can’t get too worked up about any single matchup in the NHL where the travel/back to back/injuries variables make it a harder pick than football imo to predict which team will beat another on any given night.
Buffalo always plays Boston tough, so depending on which team shows up it will always be somewhat of a mystery. team cohesiveness is lacking and too many individuals try to fix things on their own. we all know they cant depend on the refs so the Bs need to keep them out of the game. Disciplined play and quiet mouths
There's still one more game before the break btw.
Soft hands and puck management? Is there one player on the bs that posses this skill. Like watching 12 year olds play. Giveaways constantly. Bad passes etc. Mcavoy can't seem to be able to control 90% of passes back to the blue line ? I've never seen hockey this bad. It's like everyone out there is pounding vodka down for hours before the game starts. Falling down. ??? Are they drunk. Coked out ? Something is amiss. Rubber hockey sticks ? I'm at a loss when I watch games like that. It's just plain boring awful hockey
. Bad reffing bad puck skills bad hockey. And hey, I'd love to watch them play a game like they did vs vancouver a week ago but this is plain uninspired garbage. It's shinny for millionaires and I'm not buyin it
Contrary to popular belief, there's no such thing as "luck". Replace it physics, which is a fact, and we'll be on the same page.
With that out of the way, there are no easy points in today's National Hockey League. It does not matter the team, circumstance(s), schedule, time of year, etc., it is what it is. Another fact, we should be grateful that our Bs are continuing the momentum, in a more positive direction.
LETS GO BRUINS!
Bruins were an odd team last night. Buffalo is lame to say the least, and YES, the Ref's were tough last night.
I felt the B's had that game in hand. I was impressed with Wahlstrom, and lately, I've been pleased with Zadorov. Not sure why, but he seems to be getting better. I am wondering about Brazzeau, tho. He's been so solid, and yet, last couple weeks, struggling. So much that he even sat a game. I agree w. you, that Pasta has something off. He's passing, yes, but not shooting. As for the PP, the B's are PAINFULLY obvious in what they want on the PP. However, notice, they were NOT set up for the Pasta one timer, and they scored! move your feet, pass fast, and suddenly, there's chances.
The bruins were unimpressive very sloppy and they were lucky to come away with the win I hope they play better against Washington and this is again a whole team suck
Only 11 shots on goal over the first 2 periods? Pathetic …
just like the leafs fans they get excited over nothing when they beat shitty buffalo
FIRE Sweeney and Neely.
it put me to sleep I mean I took a nap. This is team is brutal to watch and unless changes in the roster are made after the break no way they make the playoffs. Get rid of Frederic he is invisible
it looked like watching public skate. i wasnt sure if it was me or the game.
what a game by geeks!-he had 2 goals,on was robbed by the corrupt refs-how was that offside-please tell me?
The refs were seriously awful last night. Bruins too but at least they won.
I don't think Boston is alone in that most teams come of long road trips and fall flat on their first home game after. I thought Korpisalo played great…again. The goal he gave up looked to be, IMO, barely deflected by Beecher's stick and that was how it got by him.
What was predicted by many Bruins fans is coming to pass. Most any NHL caliber goalie will excel with the Bruins providing our defense is not coughing up the puck all night. Signing a goalie with Swayman's limited exp. to a big money long term deal is risky. He clearly is not handling the load well. Finally, despite our pre season signings we are offensively challenged. How can we expect that Zacha, Coyle, Geekie and Fredric are going to be able to have career seasons again? Pastrnak needs some legitimate help out there.
On the subject of Pastrnak, he would be scary if he actually had a brain in his head. He is gifted, no doubt but his decision making is atrocious. Consistently trying to pass thru 3 players, trying his one timer thru a guy 2 feet in front of him prepared to block that shot, Trying to stick handle through 3 people. It never ends. If he had even a little hockey sense he would be elite in this league. The guy needs to visit the Wizard of Oz. 😛
I agree with all your points and I also felt like the Bruins couldn’t lose just based on how bad the Sabers have been playing lmao. Glad the lack effort was against this team but I hope they bring it to the Capitals tomorrow. Go B’s!
