I love our team but its gotten to the point where we 100% need some improvements. Hughes might not want to be on the team much longer if hes the only one on the defence having consistent good games.
Hate to say but Miller is the guy to blame for not only the overtime goal but also the short handed goal. Miller was at defence position but showed no effort to back check. Boeser (the left wing) had at least tried.
Quinn is a true professional, doesn't let drama or media affect his play.
If Hughes doesn't win the Norris and isn't even in the running for the Hart when he's literally carrying this entire team, is near the top of the NHL in every statistic, corsi, etc. possible, his team being useless almost any time he isn't on the ice, and beating Makar in practically all areas, while having to deal with all of this locker room/media drama and play with five pylons for defensemen, then it's further proof that most of the voters can't stay up to watch teams in the pacific division play.
Feel bad for the fans, but they need to stop buying tickets to this absolute garbage of a product.

The Juulsen penalty was a joke, the sens player lifted juulsens stick into his mouth. The reffing in this game was horrible and in favour of the senators, not that Vancouver deserved to win anyways. Both teams played horribly IMO.
I think the short-handed goal cna be attributed to the miiler-petterson rift. At the start, miller is taking the faceoff, with ep40 on the right point. When miller gets kicked out of the dot, him and petey switch. When norris streaks down wide open, the right point man should be covering. I feel like both of them felt it was the others responsibility to cover; it was pettersons man at the start of the play, but when they switched before the puck dropped, miller became the one that should have been covering.
As a Sens fan, we went through this with Karlsson. He will have to leave soon.

I mean…. Juulsen struggles every game, Forbort made so many errors. There were times last night we literally passed the puck to the other team. Also Di Guiseppe, Suter, Desharnais? Why are we dressing these players.
We have Lelkermaki, Raty, Petterson, Brandstrom, Willander and Sasson all waiting to play. Put them in, we arent winning with the first guys I mentioned. I loved watching these boys in the playoff last year but come on, wake up!
It’s not like we haven’t seen this with ovechkin, lundqvist, or currently mcdavid. different positions but they had many years of disappointment before 1 of them won a cup. But I’d like to see one thing happen. For him to win a cup. Either that’s with this team or someone where else
I'm sorry, but idk how u call Meriläinen "cheeks" for his 3rd game in the league he wasn't bad, he did enough for his team to win. The stats aren't great, but most if not all of his goals against weren't on him. Idk if u watched the game but It was either a crazy deflection/ bounce off a player or a wide open net shot from defensive breakdown(50/50 chance ur sprawling save keeps the puck out). Idk if it's saying much, but we do know he objectively played better than Lanky.

forbort is an absolute joke i literally watched him completely whiff on a pass more than 10 times it was everytime he touched the puck and i watched him trip on his own skates twice.. how do guys like this even get in the nhl based off his play last night he looks like he couldnt even keep up in the minor leagues let alone the nhl like if u cant even skate or pass a puck what are you doing on the ice? no wonder he has skipped half of his games this season with a different excuse each time
