    I'm not sure if I'm seeing what I think but, SLAF seems to be a bit of a chirper sometimes. Unfortunately I usually only get to watch the highlights to most games so I can't see much but, if anyone remembers his reaction to his first NHL goal, it seems like he's done that a few more times. This game it looked like he did it TWICE to CHARIOT. lol

    I think Hutson’s plateau will be 70 to 80 points per season, if healthy. His totals consistently will look like 6 to 8 goals and anywhere from 64 to 74 assists. Defensively, he will remain a liability, and I think some fans/analysts will begin to turn on him when this happens.

    NINE games played , and the guy is 2nd in NHL for the power play goals,,,, thats gota be amazing….
    ohhhh ,,,,and btw ,,,,, LAINE is THE FIRST ever in whole NHL history to score his first 8 goals in power play with the new team he got traded to… no one ever did that in more than A CENTURY of this league

    I don't want to play the "If Ifs and Buts Were Candy and Nuts" game here, but consider this. If we had a healthy Laine from the start of the season and he stole us just 2 wins, and if Ottawa had lost just 2 games to anyone but the Pens out of their recent 6 game winning streak, we'd be sitting in a wildcard spot right now. Hell, if we had a competent backup, they might've even stolen us a game or two and we'd be right in the mix. It's not over yet, but we've gotta play well over .500 hockey for the rest of the year.

    Healthy Laine has the potential to get a 500 goal career. Less physical Kovalchuk, same release. They have the same wrister they convert in the sliding slapper transition technique.
