@Sabres de Buffalo

When you have so many keystone pieces win cups soon after leaving the Sabres (O'Reilly, Eichel, Reinheart) it shows Buffalo is the problem

  2. Jeff skinner is doing good with the oilers and Matthew Savoie is doing great with the oilers farm team Bakersfield condors

  3. The oilers were shit from the 07-08 season to the end of the 15-16 season but they weren’t this bad like buffalo has been

  4. Karma has bit the sabers for some of the players that they treated like garbage jack Eichel Robin Lenher Ryan O'Reilly but it sucks that they were robed of a cup in 99

  5. there's absolutely no way to convince me that Buffalo didn't get scammed out out of McDavid that year. It was totally fixed.

  6. Cant call them the biggestjoke when league is openly rigging games against them, shits so rigged, hows buffalo suppose to win when teams can skate thru your goalie to score refs are kicking pucks to opposing players giving them breakaways and u make the obvious wrong csll on countless challenges all screwing buffalo over

  7. We have a GM , like everyone else.
We have a coach like everyone else.
Everyone else except Buffalo has a Team President , a 3rd voice in the room but Kim Pegula is opposed because they know more than we think they do.
    How has it worked?
Said another way, we have a two legged stool that keeps falling over….go figure.

  8. Was an amazing feeling a month ago when we were 3 points behind division lead.. just was looking at top draft prospects tonight… this is shit u can't make up … lol .. this is real ..this team is heartless and soft

. People of buffalo deserve better than this ….. show..

  9. You're a Sens Fan?

Then you should know the issue wasn't goal tending. The issue wasn't defensive play. The issue was coaching. Last season Ottawa went 1-14-1 vs the West on the road. At home, that had a winning record vs the West. They had a winning record on the road vs the Atlantic. At home, they had a .500 record vs the East. They had a .500 record on the road against the Metro. Not great numbers, but what killed their season was Western road trips… a sub .100 record is not even Coyotes/Sharks/Sabres bad… it's worse than atrocious.

The fact that this team couldn't win against the West while on the road for multiple seasons in the row indicated the problem was coaching. Fortunately we did get a coaching change and Ottawa is winning on the road vs the West. For now.

  10. Ullmark left and won a Vezina Trophy with my Bruins but he definitely has no Stanley Cup on his resume.

  11. Tage Thompson, Rasmus Dahlin, and Dylan Cozens have all been through:
An historic 18 game losing streak
    An 8 game losing streak
And a current 13 game losing streak

All under different coaches. It’s a culture problem and a character problem. These are boys who shave, not men.

EDIT: yes, the timeline is suspect, but this organization shafted Jack Eichel. They should have let him get the surgery. Teams don’t own the bodies of their players.

  12. " our story is 2 guys who started at the bottom, and with a lot of hard work stayed at the bottom, and finally arrived at the bottom"

  13. Two key things under the hood. 1. Lindy Ruff, a guy who has coached the 3rd most games in NHL History, was not allowed to bring in his own staff and was instead forced to retain the staff of the previous head coach, because the owner didn’t want to pay more coaches. 2. Lindy himself was mainly brought back not for his expertise, but because New Jersey is paying his salary for this and next year on an extension they signed him to before letting him go. Again, because the owner is forced to pay Granato, he didn’t want to spend more money on coaches.

Fun fact, we’re 10 million under the cap. Wonder why.

  14. Owen and Rasmus as potential dominate blueliners on the same roster and Buffalo will add another piece this summer.

Buffalo > 70% of the league that is completely mid and will never progress.

And I'm saying this as a Leafs fan.

  15. Correct answer to the “when”.

July 1, 2007. Briere and Drury both walk in exchange for nothing due to incompetent front office.

  16. why does this stupid narrative that the Sabres were just shipping out goalies that could make a save during the the McDavid year….they waited until the deadline to deal a couple of below average goalies and got below average goalies back in return along with picks. That's literally less than the a lot of standard rebuilding trades the past few years ffs Neuvirth and Enroth weren't even legit starters any GM when the season was already lost would have taken free picks. I don't think either goalie won a single game all January which is why this narrative is so dumb. Sharks trading Meier and other trades recently are considerably more talented than any players than the Sabres shipped off during that year.

  17. Kim Pegula ran the Sabres into the ground and they haven't recovered. I mean why couldn't she run an NHL franchise? She's married to a billionaire and played field hockey in high school.
