3 young players have been wasted because Buffalo Sabres owner is too cheap to hire a real General Manager. Kevyn Adams sucked as a player . Cousins, Peterka, Quinn have only learned how to lose not win and that is on Adams and Pegula both don't have a clue how to build a competitive hockey team. They have no respect for fans nor for the past. Is it any wonder that Mel Martin stopped posting about this trash? People why support this clown operation any longer ? I have watched the NHL since the mid 1960's and this is absolutely disgusting how these 2 bums run this team! This isn't on Lindy Ruff … give the Harold Ballard loser award to Pegula and his little pet idiot Adams. By the way, I am not a Sabres fan I live in Western Canada I hope you guys can get a real owner soon and someone who is a real GM not Kevin Adams and a true owner who should be invested into the fanbase.

Nothing can be done because the owner/organization IS the problem. Firing half of the organization at the start of Covid when all other organizations were trying to find ways to keep their people fed. Installing a yes-man GM….Fumbling O'reilly, Eichel, Ullmark (especially), Reinhart, Montour… Not letting Ruff choose assistant coaches… You cant fix this kind of shit without keeping Pegula out of it (like the Bills) and installing someone competent between him and GM…to fire GM on day one and get started… But thats a world where Pegula says wait..maybe im the problem.

My pipe dream: The Jacobs family sells the Bruins and then buys the Sabres from Terry Pegula.
Its the Granato ICE DANCER effect. He wanted a non physical, high skill team and sadly, we have a mediocre skilled team of non physical players with minimal heart and perseverance. This team will only OPEN UP when you have a physical threat out there to keep other teams honest imo. Consider bringing in Mathieu Olivier, Kastelic, Duhaime, Jeannot or even Foligno. Somebody of that magnitude would go a long way imo. Just thinking out loud here. Our biggest net front presence in the smallest player on the team (Benson) because he is FEARLESS. The others just want to dance and look for that pretty play it seems. Pucks to the net, physical play, and team defense can turn this shit show around.
This team looked like a team on a ten game losing streak with 7 mil in cap space who just had the owner fly out and tell them “no help is coming”

It's sad, I feel sorry for the fans. NHL Network discussed this in length yesterday, as you know many retired players on there making comments, showing clips from the games, etc…. So in a nutshell, The team has no passion, not willing to take a hit to make a play, not willing to dig for pucks in the corners, not willing to block shots, not willing to battle in the oppositions crease, coaching seems to be lacking, and the GM failed to bring in free agents with plenty of cap space…..
Is the owner and GM to blame that they drafted and signed guys who now can’t score? Cozens had 31 goals looked great and now he is a bum after his monster 49 mill deal, is the owner to blame? The owner can’t get Jack Quinn to remember how to score goals again or Cozens. Liane has mental illness and was a major risk,
