Les Diables ont désormais limité leurs *7* derniers adversaires à 20 tirs au but ou moins ! – Paul Cotter et Vincent Trocheck ont laissé tomber les gants en début de 1ère Période. Une bagarre décente, Cotter avec la victoire par décision ! – 34 secondes plus tard, Jack Hughes a ouvert le score, enterrant son 14e de la saison après avoir battu Jonathan Quick d’un joli coup du poignet. – Brenden Dillon et Sam Carrick ont laissé tomber les gants à 52 secondes de la fin de la 1ère période. Un combat plutôt sympa et équilibré ici, je donne à Dillon une légère victoire par décision ! – Timo Meier, Stefan Noesen et Jack Hughes (ENCORE) ajoutent des buts pour achever définitivement les Rangers. – Jack Hughes a terminé le match avec 2 buts et une passe décisive pour UN AUTRE match à 3 points ! – Timo Meier a terminé le match avec 1 but, 1 passe décisive et 2 coups sûrs. – Dawson Mercer a réalisé 1 but et 1 passe décisive, – Jesper Bratt a réalisé 2 passes décisives, 1 blocage et 3 coups sûrs ! The back to back wins against the Panthers really seemed to be the beginning of this group really starting to buy in to General Keefe’s system and gelling as a group. Why. Not. Us. If this version of the Devils is what we get in the playoffs, they are going to be a force. I can’t wait to see what guys like Noesen, Cotter, and Kovacevic bring to a playoff run. If we can add another depth player at the deadline, we get that much stronger. Let’s…Go…Devils!!

It is always good to enjoy while it lasts. Last year Jets also had seemingly good defence and the Vezina keeper to only rapidly exit the playoffs allowing 6 goals per game on average). But what a game nonetheless!
Once more another game seen and probably the best game I could have gone to this season so far and for the past few years. It was so worth moving my work day over to Christmas Eve to this game with my friends. Great game, great goals, great fights!! Great trolling by the production team!! I need to thank my boss for allowing the switch-aroo! Also, Hobby's has amazing Pastrami and Cornbeef sandwiches, although my mom makes better potato Pancakes (latkas), haha, nothing like true home cooking like the Devils are now starting to do!! The number of times they had odd man or single man breaks,the score could have easily been 8,9,10-0.its especially sweet doing it against Jonathan quick.
I have to give some props to Vincent Trocheck for starting the fight and trying to light a fire under his listless teammates. Yes, it backfired miserably for them and worked out great for us, but someone has to lead by example on that shit show of a roster. The rags are pathetic, but Trocheck earned my respect yesterday.

by the way, imo the statistic love and scoresheet focus of the NHL is hurting many players. Devils have such a great team chemistry on and off the ice which leads to such wins. and you can't find these on some statistics view..

Awesome win, but even with all of their struggles, I knew that the Rangers couldn’t be taken lightly. But what a game, Jack doing Jack things. Bratter providing the usual spark. Markie with ANOTHER shutout. And the defense holding the Rangers to their lowest shot total since 2001. All we can ask for at this time is stay healthy and keep producing.

Best Christmas present ever! Also lost my voice and still elated from this amazing victory and total drubbing of the Rags. Not least, I was so happy to have been spared that awful Rags goal chant. Silence of the Rags! I noticed during warm-ups Timo leaning on the boards like he does sometimes looking over and giving the stink-eye to the Rangers side and already looking to see who was gonna get it. That Trocheck has been asking for it and so glad Paulie took care of him right at the get go. What a work of art our boys put together – total team effort. Imagine if Dermy was in the lineup. Boys should have all been waving buh-bye past the Rags bench. Finally made it home, Ace, around 5:30 yesterday. So funny, Curtis Lazar was also merging onto Lafayette at the same time I was and I waved and he waved back. Boys were also stuck in traffic!
