There's people who think there might be an infinite number of parallel universes, and if that's the case there's still none where he ever plays for anyone else.
As a Penguins fan I can say Crosby Absolutely can't play for Bruins, Capitols, Flyers, Red Wings, and Rangers (Blackhawks but that's because I hate that team). All that said Crosby is not going anywhere.
Pens fans already know he's gonna pull a Mario and retire a Penguin. I've been saying this since the extension and I will say it until he takes center ice at PPG Paints in order to announce his retirement/reveal his sculpture outside the arena.

As a Canucks fan, the Canucks will give Pittsburgh Hoglander, Sherwood, Max Sasson, Bains, Silovs and Brannstrom, AND A 2026 2nd round pick, for Crosby! Do you see how stupid you sound?
I love knies … He's got alot of years left … Many more then Crosby … Hildeby has alot of potential… To get better and a first round pick which would be that great for leafs … I would pull the trigger if Crosby can guarantee me 3 or 4 years …if only 1 or 2 I wouldn't do it

If the Leafs were constantly getting to the 3rd and 4th rounds and just needed something extra to get over the hump to win the cup, then maybe I’d entertain a thought like trading for Crosby. But, they can’t even make it out of the first round, and when they do they get demolished in the second. The stars on our team need to prove THEY can do something first.
