Watched this game in person, Willander looked very dynamic and that shot is lethal. Liking our defensive prospects (Willander, DPetey, Mcward, Mynio, Kudryavtsev)
Goals aren’t everything when you’re a d man. Do fans really think this is 1985? The team is already having defensive issues and we want a one way offensive guy who is undersized? No thank you. Willander is the better all around player.

Na can't let the kid try to get his gold don't allow him in this Canucks dumpster fire until after his world Juniors is over it's only 1 week away that would probably take away his confidence away of trying to go for a championship that would be tough taking him away from not only his team for his country and a shot at winning something at least ya don't take him away from that opportunity tbh.

When the juniors tournament starts over the Canucks should call Willander up to the big club. He has to be better than the rest of the defenders on our current roster. The Canucks should trade Juhlsen,Myers, Forbort and DeHarnais. Make do with the players from Abby until they can make a move. Couldn’t hurt.

Willander is a stud. He is young and needs to learn discipline. He is bif strong and too physical at times. Smooth hands, fast hard snap shot
call him up…protected bottom line minutes with one of the tough guys to play with him and he has a chance to progress at the highest level…give him a taste of Quinn when he returns but let him learn his trade slowly and surely and please do not rush him into anything more than minor minutes…can he be worse than what we have?
