Why is it almost like powerplay even when Canucks has 5 guys on the ice? They leave soo much space between themselves and the opponent attacker. Should be tigheter and more upclose on the forwards. This will not end well this season.

This season has been a nightmare… small consolation with this shootout win.

Garland, Boeser, DeBrusk, Lankinen and Hughes are the undisputed MVPs who are keeping the team afloat right now, and the only reason the Canucks still find themselves anywhere near a playoff spot.
Why does J.T Miller goal in the shootout get allowed?…to be fair he is not the only player that does it. But watch the replay. He clearly retreats BACKWARDS WITH THE PUCK WHILE MAKING HIS HORIZONTAL CUT ACROSS THE ICE….According to the rules, the shooter MUST REMAIN IN CONSTANT….FORWARD….MOTION. You can't just stop and shoot OR skate AWAY from the net.

Remember when Canucks management felt it was critical to fire Bruce Boudreau due to lack of ‘structure’ that led losing multi-goal leads?
