Is it just me or is this team even boring when they win? Time to checkout until playoffs when teams actually hit. The NHL product in the regular season is pretty much soccer on ice
I'm trying really hard not to read into a new coach bump too much, but man Todd has brought life to this team. Glad he'll be here for the next few years.
4 games is a small sample, hopefully Wings can keep this going for a while. They dug themselves quite a hole with the way they played pre McClellan (13-17-4) and a below .500 record at home.
I enjoy the cats media uhh ye uhh ya know and umm uhh ya know. It's just uhh umm ya know fun to uhh hear him ya know. But fantastic play these last 3 games against some good opponents. Let's keep it up boys!! LGRW!!
Trade Larkin. Hes not needed and the chippy little BS he pulls like hitting a player after the game ended isn't the behavior of a captain. Give the C to Kane or Cat. Dylan is a spoiled child.
I think Todd might be my favorite coach the Wings have ever had, I always loved the fired up Babcock moments but holy does this guy know hockey, know how his players think, and knows how to own up to things. I can't remember a single major time lalonde owned up to him causing failure, and Todd is 4 games in and calling himself out on things
The difference between how McLellan handles himself when answering those questions and how Lalonde did is remarkable. It was about time this franchise hired an experienced and real pro head coach.
shout out to lalonde cause no hate, but todd is clearly making such a difference. I still think adding Alex Debrincat was a great addition. Humble and all round good hockey player, not gonna carry the team on his back, but proves he is a respectable player and I think that is what really represents this team. Respect from your top players makes such a difference for team morale.
