Cela ressemblait à un match éliminatoire et il y avait beaucoup de coups sûrs. – Paul Cotter a marqué son 8e but de la saison en 2e période, donnant une avance de 1-0 aux Devils de NJ. – Jake Allen s’est tenu sur la tête pendant les deux premières périodes, le match s’est dirigé vers la 3e période 1-1. – Ondrej Palat a marqué son 8e but de la saison en début de 3e période, donnant une avance de 2-1 aux Diables. – Timo Meier a écrasé Martin Necas sur la glace et s’est vu infliger une pénalité majeure et une faute de conduite. C’était totalement faux et a essentiellement coûté la partie aux Diables. – Les arbitres ont également décidé de ne pas accorder de avantage numérique aux Devils du New Jersey après qu’Orlov ait plaqué Haula bien après la rupture de la mêlée. GAMBLING IS AN ISSUE AND THE REFS LAST NIGHT PROVED IT!!!!!! Both games had the "odd" feel to it!!! We literally had sticks being slashed up 2 stories out of our hands all night long with ZERO calls until the 3rd period!! I call bullshit!! We had a 2 to 1 lead with 11 mins left and it sure felt like these refs had Carolina coming out on top in the 3rd!!!! Prove me wrong!! Timos hit was an open ice hit with NO elbow, knee, stick OR INJURE OR BLEED INVOLED!!!! 5 mins!!!! That was our response moment of the game and the refs took it away and GAVE canes the win!!! Bullshit!!!
They stole this one from us. Devils could have played better, but they were on their way to at least going to overtime if it weren’t for that “penalty”
Meier is constantly getting screwed over, just because he s finally back to his aggressive self. Gets thrown out against Nashville, kinda understandable but the game suspension was unnecessary, and now this. What is the league afraid Timo is becoming the New Cam Jansen or Scott Focking Stevens? Unfortunately it is the result I expected. All things considered, CAR was 13-4-0 at home entering last night. Do I think the Devils gave themselves a chance to win this game? Not really with how many shots they were giving up. However, with a game tied at 2, the officiating pretty much decided this one. I did feel that the Devils could have stolen a loser point if the momentum wasn't turned by an egregious call.

All pro sports are rigged. Betting rules these games as the corporations that run these games (NFL, NBA, NHL) make more from gambling than from all other resource streams combined. The officiating in pro games is getting worse because that helps with the rigging. Period.
Sorry dude, gonna be a long comment. First off, let’s talk about the Necas hit. Reminiscent of Scotty taking out another 88. The similarity between the two? Both were a clean hit where the other player was skating with their head down. Hockey 101 – keep your damn head up. If you’re going to lie on the ice like that, honestly I think it should be called “diving.” Might seem harsh, but discourages players from doing it in the future, so if someone is actually hurt, it doesn’t need to be second guessed. If you can come back almost immediately, you were FAKING!!! 2nd the Haula jumping incident. At NO/NONE/NADA should there not have been a penalty on the douche canoe that jumped him. Someone needs to stick an apple in that horse faced coach Brin D’Amor’s mouth, because the gall to assume that your thug doing that should result in a power play for your team is ludicrous. In fact he may need a psychiatric evaluation, but then again most likely not because of 3, this definitely screams scandal to me. Carolina, (and I hate them too,) is actually a decent team, but that record is crazy for any team. Maybe if you had prime Gretzky? But they don’t. They don’t even have prime Sid or Ovy. The fact that the governor of NC said that the “Devils were playing dirty,” shouts typical political redirection strategy so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was involved as well. Well Ace, its hard to win games when the refs are against you but at least we tried to fight back. The Timo ejection was bs because he wasn't even injured he faked it because he came back out 3 minutes later and played perfectly fine. next thing is yes the hurricanes are 12-1 with these officials which i think the league should look into but we all know they wont do anything. And what makes it worse you can see that they sided with the canes over the devils the entire game and on top of the the GOVENOR of Carolina is calling us dirty and is happy we don't play them anymore. anyway lets put this game behind us and prepare for a long upcoming road trip in the west. LGD!!!!!

I think Carolinas soft they play a heavy forcheck game but there not a heavy hitting team no one on the canes wanted to drop mitts i think orlov is a clown for skating back on the icr to try n tackle haula

Timo being ejected was a trash call, especially since Neces didn't miss a beat. He came out for his next shift, mission accomplished. Then Orlov, who blatantly attacked Haula, and they got nothing. What a joke. Or, as Keef said, "a f#@&×ng disgrace"

I agree with you about McDermid. Tatar is pretty useless and Kurtis should've been in there last night. Keefe should've had the foresight to know they would be pissed off and going to do whatever they could to win that game.

I thought officiating was bad at times last season, but this goes above and beyond and obviously so. The governor feeling the need to weigh in alone is suspect in and of itself and practically demands your investigation, Ace! Follow the money. And Dermy needs to be in these games.

Also, I too didn't think the Haula hit was dirty. Niether did the refs, as it wasnt called until after the scuffle. Orlov was losing his balance and his head was lower to the ice than normal.
I do finally feel like we are a better team, but still do not want to see them in the first round. We may get a Hughes v Aho fight though….
