Demko played like 20 mins more after the Juulsen bump. Also man if hes that prone to injury more reason to sign Lank and make him the medium term goalie plan. Demko is great when healthy but glass

Demko had back spasm, apparently not related to his knee. Just needed some rest. Hopefully we will see him again soon.
Love what Demko has done here in Vancouver, but: he’s older, and his history of SERIOUS injuries has caught up with him. He had double hip surgery in college…added to his recent injuries, and…I think he’s on the downward trend. Sad, but the body is not invincible!

That wasn't really on Juulsen. The timing of Demko coming out and Juulsen going to push the forward off the crease was just horribly timed and unlucky.
But also if Demko can't fall down once without getting injured, the guy isn't useful. Goalies fall down. Get knocked down. Trip. Sprawl. Dude has to take it.
It was a mixed bag of a game for the Canucks, with a win in a shootout, but Thatcher Demko gone for days, potentially weeks, due to bad luck after Noah Juulsen had run into him.
These games should be this close .
