Very good game, just have to play till the whistle blows every time. I understand the defense is a problem, but Carolina is a very great defensive team and it showed. I am not very worried about the whole Verhaeghe thing either, seeing as he had a great 2024 year and Alexis Lafreniere is going through a similar slump at a younger age. Just don’t worry until tomorrow, I believe.

Verhaeghe somehow has 27 points right now but he looks like a ghost out there. I think that is one of the bigger issues this team has. How many late gwg they would get from him and now its nothing.
I'm getting kinda irritated with this team as of late. By all metrics, we should be at least six points clear of Toronto by now, if not more like ten. Except this team only gives a fuck sometimes. If they just coast into the playoffs without any urgency, they'll likely get kicked right back on out within the first two rounds.
Fix this, Cats, or I'll pay as much attention to the regular season as there is effort given by the team.

Sorry , Jaws. no way in hell is blaming Bob warranted. He had a save from his knees. He wasn't able to get back to his feet to get into position, thats why he looked back. Bob had a masterclass performance, and this is what he got for that work. This team is perplexing. They had a few stretches like this last year. It was frustrating as hell then, too. I knew this blue line was gonna cost us. That being said, guys that need to score can't get out of a funk. Chucky hasn't produced since the 2023 finals. Shot placement really SUCKS.
