Coach Berube is right about one thing …a lot of good things have happened with this team so far this season. I particularly like that the defense does not get pushed around near as much and the goaltending has been good to very good on most nights. That, for starters makes this season so much better than recent years.
I also like how they scratched out a winning record with so many injuries and how they stick up for each other more than in the past.
i'll say give the C to max patch. his press interviews are a knotch above the rest / smart / knows the game

Berube is my favorite Leaf coach in my lifetime. Another positive is the defense this year. They haven't been this solid since the early 90's, when they had guys like Macoun, Rouse, and Lefebvre. This team reminds me a little of the 93 team. Let's go!

Patches reminds me of a German Shepherd loved him when he was with the Habs and wearing 67 is the best number on a hockey jersey.
Benoit is underrated defensive defenceman….he instantly made the blueline harder to play against way before any additions came in
Benny! What a breath of fresh air he’s added to this blue line, he’s made his mistakes but he’s been consistently a battler and we needed a guy like him on this team for a while.
I was unsure about the Berube hiring but he might just be the right coach for this team and this market. Tough straightforward smart. The team is beginning to reflect the coach’s personality.
