Legorocks is awful. Nothing but click bait hating. Did the media learn nothing from the way they treated Luongo and the way he was ru out of town . We don't need this crap. Even if there is a rift in the room they will never publicly admit to it.. just get over it already
Is the market saturated with idiots from media, and fans on social media? Sure. Do other markets have this problem. Absolutely. This claim about this markets media and gossip mill hurting the team is a bullshit excuse. This shit comes with the territory, and the players all learn how to tune it out. It’s pretty obvious that key injuries have exposed the lack of depth on the team. The powerplay that was so potent last year has evaporated and makes the Canucks far more beatable. These are the real problems .
There is nothing that makes teams more fractured than losing streaks. That’s when they all feel the pressure, and tension around the team spikes. If the Canucks turn this around and look anything like the team that went into last years playoffs, then all the negative bullshit will disappear. If not, then the player knows this is going to have consequences for their careers- some more than others. That’s the only thing that truly matters to them. There is no need to make bs excuses for the team.
Vancouver media has always been a factor for the demise of so many great Canucks teams.

This has been an issue season after season after season. Regardless of injuries or defensive core. That’s why people are harping on it. Because it needs to be addressed.
Having grown up in Edmonton and then moving away it was amazing on just how toxic, intrusive and destructive the media and fan base can be in Edmonton can be compared to other cities. Seems live Vancouver is the same way.

Defense played extremely well against Nashville for our top two hurt. That was good hockey on both sides. That was just a loss. If the Canucks play that hard for the remainder of the season, theyll squeak into the playoffs. Btw, Meyers is trying his best to step up. Good effort on his part since Hughes has been out.
