We gotta win tomorrow. Playing Rempe tomorrow is a catch 22 for the Rags. Yes he does bring physical play, and I do like the old time hockey. However, many of his hits are questionable, and the league has him in the crosshairs due to his history. Being a rival game, that might amp him up, and make him throw another suspension worthy hit…and if he does that, he'll be out of the league. I agree though, if Rempe is in the lineup, MacDermid MUST be in the lineup too. Given how we trolled the rags last game, he might try to knock Hughes out on purpose.

Can't wait honestly, the previous game against the rangers was spectacular with high offense and great goaltending. The devils still must approach this game in a serious matter because of the four game losing skid. Every team goes through slumps but I'm glad to say that coach Keefe is serious about fixing problems and errors. LGD

We love throwback lunchpale types, but Rempe is a complete gargoyle. He's gotta keep the chicken wings down, not leaving his feat, and hitting with the shoulder. With no Kreider or Chytil does Rempe get more than 5 minutes of ice time? Valiquette is sipping out the baby piss cup. He's always giving me the douche chills.
Small but I think important detail in the history. Rempe also signed of picture of Bastian after he was it. Not Rempe making the hit, Rempe was nowhere to be found in that picture. It was just a picture of Bastian sitting on the ice injured and bloody, brought by a Rangers fan and Rempe signed it. Pretty sure this was between the glove wave and the brawl. I already thought Rempe was a pos but this was the nail in the coffin.
I don't like that because Hughes set out to embarrass Shesterkin there by slowing down and going to one hand. He slowed down, he wanted to put a fancy move on it. It was more Instagram hockey than intense hockey.

Looking forward to this one! On a side note, Taylor Hall is an intriguing trade prospect, I say give Chicago the 3rd rounder they're seeking and make it happen. Hall can still score and would be a solid addition (and push Tatar or Bastian even further down the depth chart or off it). You can tell from his post-Winter Classic interview he wants to be on a contender. I'd love to see him and Nico playing together again.
Rempe is going to be headhunting for Siegenthaler and/or Bastian. He knows both of them wilt upon contact and they're easy prey.
I am looking forward to this game but worried. Worried that the only reason why they have that piece of shit Rempe called up is to injure one of the boys. I guarantee this is going to happen.
