Without having any data in front of me, I bet at least half of the NHL teams have the same amount of injuries that the Wild do. I am not buying that the Wild are THE most injured team in the league

Maybe not but as far as importance of players?? Kirill was at the front of the hart trophy list when he went down.. We were bout defense and I can't imagine the defense being up to par when 3 of your top 4 defensemen are out. Maybe other teams have more but any with that grouping of players.

Minnesota is definitely feeling the effects of injury as bad as anybody now but the avs team they played is missing 6 rotational pieces in this game tonight and druoin is definitely injuries. The avs were not a basically healthy roster.
Seth, there is a stat of man games lost, I'm not sure where, but there is. It has been mentioned on the tv. If I remember correctly, MN Wild were not at the top.
Honestly I was happy with the first half of the game despite the disparity of players on the ice. Game went as expected. It was a matter of time before Colorado ran away with it.
Jiricek should get more opportunities when the defense is fully healthy before Merril.
Rossi is our #1 center. Just read recent trade rumors of Rossi for Elias Petterson. That shouldn't happen. Rossi has the potential to be a better version of Martin St.Louis and much cheaper than Petterson on his extension.
It may not happen this deadline but in the off-season I'd trade for Jared McCann.
This off-season
Get rid of Hartman, Gaudreau and Trenin in the off-season.
Potentially trade Boldy for Brady Tkachuk.
If Spurgeon can finish the season healthy and playing well I would trade him as well.
Avalanche fully health? Girard, Nichushkin out, top two line players.
Kylington and wood out, two top 3 line guys.
Including Landeskog, the literal captain not playing.
Delusional fan base. All teams deal with injuries and Wild are nowhere near the top of the league, Avs are top 3.

They lost Wedgewood for a bit so goalies are even.
The Wild need to weather the storm. They are in great position and will be a bitch to play against come April. This is the last year of the 14.7 million shortfall which is killing them right now. Next season the prospects will be here, ready, and we’ll be on an even playing field come free agency – finally. Ohgren, Yulov, plus acquisitions will make the 2025-2026 team a top 6 league wide.
