Giving HART to a wing player doesn't sit well, idk feel like centre should always get HART even Dman should be. MacKinnon Leon are on par with eachother in terms of play I'll give to MacKinnon cuz he's a centre
It's an honor to have 2 superstars on the team… McDavid and Draisaitl saved the Oilers
The year that Ovi won with 51 and Leon had 50, in the last game of the season Draisaitl had an empty net and flipped it high over the defenceman's head on target. Somehow though the defenceman knocked it out of the air, robbing Leon of a tie for the Rocket Richard trophy with Ovi. So so close… Hopefully this year he keeps up the scoring. Maybe 60 goals? Wouldn't that be cool
Man if one of these guys was a goalie or something… Instead they have 2 of the most amazing forwards, but a 5 foot gap in net lol how can you win
Not if McDavid say otherwise
J. Iginla 100%
16-3-1 in their last 20
Can’t lie I’m happy to see Edmonton isn’t a cup contender, their fans are actually delusional
1967, 1968
Disappear for most of the playoffs again?
best team in the league atm
how does the narrator not know if Draistal won a rocket richard??? i mean if you casually follow the game, you know who leads the lead in goals each year. that was mindblowing that the host/narrator didn't know! esp with the amount of coverage and attention leon and the oil get. he also says "technically" iginla won twice…No dude. He simply won twice. Why the eff are you saying "technically"….and why the HELL would you think iginla would be the first name to come to mind as someone who won it once? this narrrator dude is a bit of a goof as they say in canaada…haha thumbs downed this vid but still giving it a chance.
That year Ovi scored one more to win the rocket, in the last game of the season, last minute Leon lobbed a high empty net attempt that was heading for the net and a flames player batted it out of the air with a fluke swat. That close!
CheeChoo Train! loved him playing with jumbo Joe!
I agree, he plays well. But again, the Oil look like they don`t have it this year. They thought they have fixed their top 6 with Jeff Skinner, and he`s a bust. It did cost the Holloway, who plays excellent for STL in a 2nd line role. Has 14G and 17A for 31 pt and is +8. Compare that to Skinner. Again, they can`t get two solid lines together around McD and Drai.
And look at their D. They would need an elite 2nd pair RD.
Leon for the Hart! but a rocket trophy would be nice as well. Hopefully both! He's been great this year and as anybody who's watched him for awhile would know, he's also been really happy to talk to media and seems like he's having fun out there. unlike other years. Go leon!
They’ll never get a cup making more than 10 mill
Draisaitl is easily MVP
Ha, Coilers are never winning the cup. It not happening.
I've said for a couple of years that on any other team, without the shadow of McDavid he would be considered the second best player in the league or he'd at least be in the conversation
I went to game 7 to support the Oilers last year. Please don't give me hope again my wallet can't handle it 😅
Awesome! 🙂
McJesus is hiding an injury. It sucks, but happy he's still playing!
draisaitl kinda reminds me of stamkos and also malkin to a degree. Under appreciated despite being a top dog of his generation and getting snubbed for certain awards in certain years to someone else
