Risto has improved over the past 16 months. The player he was in 2020-2023 isn’t the same player as he is now. He’s less aggressive offensively, and more disciplined in the neutral and dzone.
He’s an improvement on Miller and this year’s version of Demelo. A solid #4, 2nd pair RD. Not a top pair D. But the Jets desperately need a RD that can help the top 4. Miller and Coghlan have done great on the 3rd pair…but the Jets need to push everyone but Morrissey and Samberg down a notch.
Feels like when helly gets the night off, the rest of the team thinks it's a night off too.
We throw in Stanley or no deal.
