Bring up Lekkeromai up full time and put Petey on defence! He plays really well defensively!
Petey’s game was amazing, easily his best game, so on point to the task needed, and it’s not all about points, only a unfocused mind can’t see that. He’s so underrated in that regard. Love it. I watch closely, in fact I’ll go back and watch it again, sometimes 3 times….if you watch closely to Pettersson’s game you see the details. Most miss it…subtle things. He does things no one else does. That attention to detail is why he’s worth it all. No one else in the entire league does it. He’s so cerebral. God knows JT wouldn’t or couldn’t ever. No knock on JT, in fact I love him, we need him and Petey and Quinn plus goaltending to be truly successful. I believe we have most of the pieces, just have to shore up the defence, I think we are short 2 pieces in that regard. When the Canucks are firing on all cylinders, plus Hronek and some added D, they are unstoppable. C’mon Allvin make it happen.
What would I be open to?? Well, Brock, Jonathan, Nils and that first. Tell me you couldn’t get a bunch of multiple D back for that
