1. i think it is absolutely worth exploring, I think theres a good chance it really clicks for both team and player.

  2. Hall acted like a baby when he got traded to NJ. That being said, hes a good player. For the right price, and only, only if he wants to come back.

  3. I agree Ace huge asset to the bottom 6 and Hall wants to win and he can score ! We definitely need something to help the top six

  4. Ah shit, what have I started lol. Imma be honest Ace, whenever I say something funny, people immediately question what I'm thinking. Then later on in the future, they most of the time come back to the conversation and agree with me on the subject. Here we are, and like I told you I hope Hall and the fans would let bygones be bygones from 2018. Also, I kinda felt bad for him when he went to Coyotes, dude was just not winning and cup, and honestly, he is one of the unlikely players that want to see hold the cup. Regardless, Let's Go Devils!

  5. mhmm a stud center between cotter and merc would be amazing; halsy with bratt and jack, palat back to the fourth, bast/tatar scratch

  6. I say absolutely. The stats you presented give a strong persuasive agreement. He could contribute significantly to the team due to its makeup. He'd be a strong addition and would contribute to the scoring. He needs a good team around him to flourish. Plus I could wear my Hall Devils tshirt again!

  7. Why even wasting 20 minutes on such a ridiculous topic? Not even going to watch this nonsense. Better make the suggested video on the Devils quarter-century 1st and 2nd teams

  8. No brainer for me. In Hall's last NJD stint, he was expected to be a leader, something I do not think he had any interest in being, and that is OK. He had a legendary year, followed by injuries and bad teams. He could come in, immediately help on the ice. I do think he is a good guy off the ice, he just couldn't be the face of the team and didn't want to be. If the locker room likes him, do it. I am sure his partying days are over too… He is married and has a kid now.

Will Butcher was great that year, his rookie year. I thought he was going to be a Devils for a long time.

  9. ill take anything that will help at this point!! love the vids ace! LETS GO DEVILS!

  10. If the cost starts with a 2nd, and maybe a 4th to eat half his salary, then you can send those along with tatar. Essentially upgrading tatar and turning him into hall. That is a clear upgrade! Even if he plays on the 4th line, he is just a straight improvement at a very digestable cost. Plus w half retained AND moving out tatar, we would still have cap and assets to make another move.

  11. I wouldnt want taylor hall the devils need help down the middle taylor halls always injured and likely gonna cost us a 2 cuz wrre gonna need some retention id much rather look elsewhere in the trade market. Id rather a guy whos more gritty and harder on pucks for thisn team

  12. Wondering why Keefe isn't playing Cotter at center to begin with. We need a center and it's Cotter's natural position…I don't get it.

  13. Yes they absolutely should. He's better than anyone else on our third line and that's probably where he winds up.

  14. I don’t think I’d hate it, but the retention is what’s going to kill the deal. Trent Frederic is someone Fitz targets. Fitz doesn’t like rentals. So if he can get Frederic and Hall it’s a win but have a hard time seeing the money work. Honestly I think we need a dman as well. I worry about injuries on the backend. Already seeing Kova play dip a little.

I think Fitz does it soon to be honest. He pulled the Timo trade off in Feb.

  15. absolutely no!! An injury prone player well past his prime who hasnt done anything the last 2-years.Palat is playing better than Hall this year. There will be much better players available. Better consider them even it'll take a higher pick to get someone. Priority is to get a good 3rd line Centre and another heavy bottom 3 player who is able to put pucks into the net. And after the last two mentioned spots are sorted and there's enough money left go get someone like Palmieri, tough player with the scoring touch, who can deflect pucks, good around the crease, can score dirty goals. This Hall idea is funny though, made me laugh

  16. Gross. Ryan O'Reilly – canadian bacon – is more points, better CF, $4.5 million, plays the position we actually need, but ppl want Taylor Ham for $6 million? 🤮

  17. Lou used to always bring in veterans who were hungry to win their first cup and when we were going good it always seemed like one of them would get some timely goal, it's no secret that Hall wants to win a cup. I guess the question is are there going to be better options available than him.

  18. I saw his interview on Spittin Chicklets (post-Winter Classic) and he seems like he's matured a lot. Has a wife and kid now and enjoys not being front and center anymore . He even said he likes mentoring other players like Bedard, though i bet he still has fire in the belly to win a Cup. Hall had good things to say about Jack on that episode and i think he'd be stoked to play with Jack and Nico (again). We have nothing to lose by signing him and who knows, maybe he plays another 3-4 years on the cheap?

Our bottom six has been stagnant outside of Cotter so it's a no brainer imo.

  19. A lot can change in a year, let alone a few years. I listened to the interview…I agree. I think he's changed. He might be a win now asset. It might be interesting to see what happens. I still think we should try to find a way to bring Brady to NJ.

  20. NO. He won't fit in to Keefe's structured defensive system, and he'll never live up to his own Devils legacy. I'll pass.

  21. NO! He had his best year when he won MVP he is going downhill now. The big question is how come no team wants to keep him?!?

  22. If there's a deal that can be made that works in NJ's favor, I'm sure Fitz can get it done if they actually try to go after Hall. My primary concern is whether or not Hall can stay healthy. He has had ONE full season since '17-'18 and every other year has been littered with injuries, including this season. That alone should make his price tag be incredibly cheap because it's a pretty high risk to take on a guy who could easily end up on IR pretty quickly. Yes, anyone can get hurt… but with Hall's record of injuries, it makes me VERY wary of taking that risk.

  23. Absolutely NOT, guy was and cancer and then when he didn't get his way he bailed. And sorry but it's a VERY SIMPLE ANSWER NOOOOO!!!!!. JUST NO!!! Don't want him anywhere near this team!!

  24. Ace has been drunk and on something real heavy while making this video

  25. Im going to have to say…no.
While he might be better than some of the Devils worst players, that’s not saying much for Hall, lol, that’s being a little harsh. Yeah, it would be cool to see what he could do with Jack and Bratt, but, it’s 50/50. Devils don’t need to be taking risk or wasting time with twilight forwards.
It’s just not a reunion I want to see. Fitz needs to go after a big forechecking type player and someone that knows how to work the front of the net and low slot. Imo
    LGD!
