The Kraken have already blown up their coaching staff the moment Bylsma was made head coach, so not much more can be done there, it seems…
Defense is lacking, and that's a huge factor, scoring isn't always consistent (I tend to consider their first goal of the game is their QUOTA), but there's also the matter of Grubauer; he is NOT #1 goalie material, no matter how much they're paying him.
CJ needs to show up in a well fitted Candian Tuxedo
Man the Kraken just really struggle to generate any meaningful offense, from the games I have seen lately
I'm a big fan of the Kraken, which is not easy. They need scoring, and the off-season was head-scratching, but that's not the biggest worry for me. They seem to be an emotional team; streaky. They don't always show up. Their -15 (or so) 1st period goal differential is pathetic. And the team plays completely different in front of Daccord vs Grubauer, which makes Grubauer's stats look absolutely abysmal. All that suggests coaching issues, doesn't it? Team leadership might be lacking, too. Looking forward to seeing the 2nd half of the season with Eberle back to know for sure. But my eyebrow is raised at Bylsma's effectiveness.
Finally some wings talk smh
For Seattle, the Montour signing was a great one but the Stephenson signing has been BAD. He hasn't been awful awful but for the cap hit and based on the trajectory of the team, the signing makes little sense.
Interesting that the team that is 1st/2nd in the league (Caps) have no reps at 4 Nations. Why do you think? Big picture it's good for us–full rest etc–but it makes you wonder why. Your thoughts?
Drake Batherson is untouchable in a trade…..you won’t get back the value of that contract. Will probably end the season at a point per game at under 5 mill some other teams have players making over 10 mill without those stats *cough cough Elias Peterson
I just imagine steve and Chris on the fire making challenge and we watch Chris slowly run out of supplies and being in shock. Camera pans over to his opponent steve, one hand on a tree, the other on his back, in pain.
Marchand handles controversy better than Neely and Sweeney. Marchand does so much stuff on the ice that makes me really dislike him, and then he does some really great off ice stuff that makes me like him, which makes me dislike him even more for creating the internal dichotomy. The Marchand Vortex.
I’m not surprised to see Chris ignorant to the status of the Kraken. I highly doubt Francis is in the hot seat. He may get fired to appease the ignorant masses but his signings have all been fine. We have a slew of underperforming players. Something is rotten in the locker room.
I mean look at the source of the comments. If its not from a recognizable source its probably bullcrap.
Coburg and Trinidad so so so similar! LOVE IT
Vegas was picked last after the draft. Try again bud.
