  1. They should have players skate in from center for the penalty shot with the net empty anyway. It would be funny and you never know if they actually miss/over-skate the puck

  2. Would be a funny gimmick if they had to take penalty shots on an empty net. Once in a million someone might miss while showboating and that would make for a great blooper.

  3. Fun fact, the Sabres didn't register a single shot on goal the entire 3rd period, but we're awarded a goal by rule. Thompson hitting the post does not count as a shot on goal.

  4. I think they should have given him a penalty shot on an open net, that would have been HILARIOUS

  5. Guy gets absolutely hacked goes flying into the boards stays in control the entire time and turns around with a big missing tooth smile. Hockey players are built different.
