Ryan McLeod des Sabres de Buffalo réussit son premier tour du chapeau dans la LNH de façon inhabituelle. Alors qu’il patine vers un filet vide, il est frappé par Brent Burns des Hurricanes de la Caroline. Le filet étant vide, McLeod obtient le but d’une manière non conventionnelle. lol burns slashed him so automatic goal
They should have players skate in from center for the penalty shot with the net empty anyway. It would be funny and you never know if they actually miss/over-skate the puck
I can’t see the puck go in?
lol Burns 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Off the bar 🤣
When we thought it couldn't get any worse Burns is like, " Hold my beer."
They should of let him take the shot
This is one of my favorite obscure hockey rules along with forfeiting the OT point for losing with an empty net
Apparently Thompson got credit …probably bc McLeod didn't actually touch it
Would be a funny gimmick if they had to take penalty shots on an empty net. Once in a million someone might miss while showboating and that would make for a great blooper.
Fun fact, the Sabres didn't register a single shot on goal the entire 3rd period, but we're awarded a goal by rule. Thompson hitting the post does not count as a shot on goal.
?
Announcers that don’t know the rules. How embarrassing
WHAT IS THIS ANNOUNCER SAYING?? PENALTY SHOT? ITS JUST A GOAL
I think they should have given him a penalty shot on an open net, that would have been HILARIOUS
Goal or on goal
Incredible play from Burns! Embarrassing way to get credit for a hatty.
Yeah, you can’t do that…
He didn’t make contact with the puck. Should be Thompsons goal
That’s gonna be on weird nhl
Guy gets absolutely hacked goes flying into the boards stays in control the entire time and turns around with a big missing tooth smile. Hockey players are built different.
