I've been watching hockey for almost 30 years now. Been a penguins fan the whole time. Been blessed to see so many incredibly talented players go through Pittsburgh. But I think I've been even more blessed to have been able to hear the two best game callers in the history of the sport in Mike Lange and Rick Jeanneret in my time. It really makes me feel bad to hear Rick's voice so raspy and rough. Mike Lange has his troubles too but both have really given us fans such a treat in being able to listen to their goofy calls and sheer excitement right along with us. My two favorite goal calls ever are the Lemieux go ahead goal vs Chicago in thr first game of the cup finals and Brad May's overtime "Mayday" goal. Rest up Rick, I hope that voice gets better! Watch Dahlin at 7:20…………sigh………he was less than awful in this game…….but I say hang onto him…..he will improve…….Eichel is obviously hurt……let him heal……what cough drop did Jenneret take he sounded great in the third period……..
I hope RJ feels better. He's one of the best announcers in the league. I would like to hear RJ and Steve Cangialosi call a game tonight. The intensity when someone scores. Lol
Pens fan here. Hope Rick J. makes a full recovery (he was pulled mid game). I try to catch Buffalo games just to listen to him if the Pens aren't playing. Also, F*CK throat cancer!
Sabres Fans: There are no bad teams in professional sports, just bad management. Sabres ownership sucks. And has sucked since 2011. That's why Pat Lafontaine bolted from the Sabres organization. I'm not sure I'm a fan anymore and I've been a Sabres fan since the 1971-72 season. Pitiful.
Buffalo Sabers, who do you want me to root 4 in a month ,not gonna be the blue and gold,……again really you are lucky to have any fan base you guys owe me a beer or something
It time for the Sabres to clean house 10 plus year of this Disgraceful hockey our arena starting to look like the Florida Panthers arena i am big Sabres fan this shameful

Buffalo Sabres have alot of talent. They'll be good when they get rid of that lousy trap coach. Team to watch next year.
