  1. The fans don't want to see management ice a goalie with an .872 % SV so maybe Thatcher should call it a day if this is it.
Between Demko (3.39 GAA) and Silovs ( 4.11 GAA) and Allvin's pitiful defense picks the Canucks management have screwed their own team. Let's not mention 11.6 and his pitiful performance since signing ink to paper.

  2. This is the biggest rage bait. Never believe anything from the media unless the player themselves actually say something . Canucks have a lot of drama going on so it’s easy for everyone to go and make sht up because it makes people talk and view their click baits.

  3. Canucks just aren't as good as people think. Certainly not as good as last year. One of the problems this team has had for decades is everytime they need a rebuild they have zero assets to do it with. Well currently they do with Demko, Boeser and Miller. Have one year to trade Petey as well. Young players are better prepared for the NHL and Canuck fans would support a losing team as long and they're young with potential for growth.

  4. I've always wanted a true rebuild, Vancouver has NEVER done it, we've been this mushy middle team forever and it's time to suck for a 1st overall pick.

  5. If I was Demko I would any part of this D core either

    Outside of Hughes / Hronek

    I mean

    Myers
    Soucy
    Forbort
    Desharnais
    Brannstrom
    Nuulsen

Yeah I’d be pulling groins on back door plays 10 times a game too

    😂😂😂

  6. I would say the issue is all about the media where media is supposedly to report the accurate report but not stirring up the pot with the inaccurate or half-accurate information. For this one, instead of firing coaches or trading players, they should have blocked out the media from the changing room forever. Those reports are really toxic to the team's mentality.

  7. I did a little math, and the Canucks were without Miller from November 19 Vs The Rangers to December 10 vs the Blues. During that stretch, their results were:

    Nov 19: Canucks 3 Rangers 4

    Nov 23: Canucks 4 Senators 3

    Nov 26: Canucks 2 Bruins 0

    Nov 27: Canucks 4 Penguins 5

    Nov 29: Canucks 4 Sabers 3 (OT)

Dec 1: Canucks 5 Red Wings 4 (OT)

    Dec 3: Canucks 2 Wild 3 (OT)

    Dec 6: Canucks 5 Blue Jackets 2

    Dec 8: Canucks 2 Lighting 4

    Dec 10: Canucks 3 Blues 4 (OT)

    Record: 5-3-2 12 points.

Their worst game was the 4-2 loss to the Lightning, and they're the Lightning, so that's nothing unusual for a team to lose to them. The rest were all either wins or 1 goal losses.

    Pettersson's performance during that stretch: GP: 10 G: 2 A: 13 P: 15 +/-: 0 Projected for 80 games: G: 16 A: 106 P: 122

I think this makes it clear the Canucks this season, since November, are a better team without JT Miller then with him. Whatever's going on with Miller is an anchor weighing the whole team down and it's only getting worse with each game this thing remains unresolved, and at this point, it's clear the only resolution is to trade him or buy him out if a trade is not possible. Keep in mind, it's not as simple as "just find a move and move him" JT has that "no moves" clause in his contract, so he has to approve of any moves before it can go through, and that may be the holdup in finding a deal for him. Given that comparison, don't think that Alvain and Rutherford don't have those same stats before them and would much rather trade Miller then Pettersson. Tocchett's also obviously aware of those stats too, as it's Miller who's the one getting benched and in his doghouse and not Pettersson. I think Tocchett knows Miller's dragging guys down but has to dress JT to make him hopefully more attractive to trade, but has to limit his ice time to limit the damage the guy can do until management can find a suitable deal for him.

  8. Demko no longer wanting to play for the Canucks? Maybe that will occur closer to the end of his existing contract but why this season? I honestly don’t know.

  9. demko doesn't want to play? i didn't know he started. this benning core is looking like a bunch of prima donas. the vancouver team is getting hard to watch and the ticket price doesn't translate to the product they are putting on the ice.

  10. Shouldn’t this more read like: Demko doesn’t really want to play if the Canucks are playing this poorly. That’s no fun anyway.
And – that Demko still wants to be a Canuck.

  11. you no nothing about hockey you beleive evrey rumour you hear demko is gonna alow 6 7 goals tonight

  12. This channel is starting to get silly. You would think the team was a soap opera based on all the titles that come out of this channel alone. Next thing you know you're going to tell me Myers is pregnant and that the water boy doesn't want to give the team water.

  13. I can't wait for tonight's game, it is going to be a season altering game one way or the other. Lots of emotion for tonight's game.
