@Canucks de Vancouver

1. That stupid woman reporter is why the NHL sucks now with their DEI reporters and commentators. I'd rsther watch the game with no commentating than to be forced to listen to some high-pitched female with no knowledge about life, let alone hockey.

  2. Oiler's fans are just as bad as Canuck's fans. If anything, Myers should only have gotten 2. He didn't intend to hurt Bouchard. The slow-motion replay shows Myers aiming for Bouchard's chest but Bouchard's hands deflected Myer's stick into his face. Therefore, Bouchard should have been suspended 2 games for cross-checking himself and Myers the remaining 1 game. lol. Also, it doesn't help that Myers is like 7 ft tall and Bouchard is 5'1" LOL.

  3. The Canucks Organization should set more restrictions on what the media asks the players. These journalists are asking questions with leading narratives which cause an emotional downstroke for the player, toxic to his confidence & sound peace of mind.

  4. No. They are not saying it was after the play. They are saying it was unprovoked. Those are much different things. Most olier fans are also saying yes he deserves a suspension, for 1 game… which is the standard.
They are also saying that this wouldn't have happened if the refs called the penalty when it happened against mcDavid.

  5. The Canucks media is so stupid for spreading these rumors. Not one of them are a part of the organization yet they're speaking like they know anything at all. I hated how they talked about the supposed conflict between Miller and Peterson. Which by the way, if it was true, how is it helpful at all? And now they're saying Demko doesn't like playing for Vancouver and wants out? The Canucks media honestly need to shut up because they don't know anything. Speaking as a resident and a fan of the team

  6. I'm seriously tired of the media talking about this and that. Some stuff are meant to be kept within the organization, spilling them out only makes the team and players harder to deal with. And it really puts a lot of pressure on those guys.

  7. Plot twist: Maybe JT isn't the poor heart on his sleeve victim you all make him out to be. Maybe there was a serious incident following his benching a while back which was enough to force him to take a leave of absence. Maybe it was framed as 'he needs time for personal reasons' instead of a suspension – as that as that would lower his value since he already has a reputation for being difficult. Maybe he wants out, or the team is sick of his sh*t and they want him out, except lest we forget he has a NMC which has likely made this thing drag out and put PA in a very tough position to move him. Maybe..

  8. McDavid's crosscheck = side of head. Myers's crosscheck = face.

    Love you biased Canuck fans.

  9. Witnessing Millers character over the last few years he is going to play with a burr under his saddle. Hope the Nucks run the oilers out of the building. Shame Joshua isn't likely going to be playing. The media needs a tune up on ethics: SN, TSN, FCTV, Global, CBC, Province etc.

  10. Bang on keep both it’s been a long season with a lot of injuries Miller is a driven Beast Petterson will mature Demko will bounce back from injuries that are tough for goalies lateral movement it is what it is as they say the sky is not falling JUST BE PATIENT!!!

  11. I agree just relax these guys are PRO’s they want to win ,yes they want the money but I have NO talent at hockey but when I go out on the weekend I want to WIN and I don’t get paid that’s the nature of the beast.GIVER every shift.

  12. Im not sure whether u'r blind or stuuupid?? I'm no Oilers fan, but McDavid was clearly screwed! Thrown in an armbar and then ridden like a horse long enough to cost them the game. McDavid's only mistake was not gifting Garland with a visit from the tooth ferry! Myers', on the other hand, was a blatant–and out of the clear blue sky–viscious cross check to the mouth of another player. Not even close to the same thing!! McDavid should have got 1 game and Myers at least 4 or 5 ffs! My only question to you is, what game were you watching?????

  13. Let me make a rather odd comparison of what a guy like JT is like, and why the Team needs guys like him to win. When I served in Iraq, we were monitoring a US SF unit in contact in Falujah, they were surrounded & pinned down, but they managed to break out & take a few insurgents with them, and took out a nest of insurgents who'd pinned down some Marines. In the after action reports the Team credited their Team Sgt with saving them all, he actually smashed through a building's wall, gave them direction & encouraged them to keep fighting. He carried the Team on his back when the situation seemed hopeless. Even the USMC Officer & the men with them said this guy's heart & drive to win is what got them out. The Team Sgt was an older guy, & didn't take shit from anyone, but he had that drive to win that wouldn't let them lose. In many ways, SF Operators are like professional athletes, super fit, & work in a small teams to accomplish a mission, not unlike a line in hockey. JT reminds me of that Team Sgt. He's the kind of guy that will drag you through the playoffs, no matter how injured he is, no matter how hopeless the situation is. On the other hand, EP40 is like a sniper, quiet, and works best alone or with a spotter. He's just not a leader. Sorry for the military references, but I hope you get the analogy.

  14. I’m a Edmonton born Canucks fan living in Edmonton. And oh my lord walking out of the sports pub in a Canucks jersey I got more insults than when the playoffs last year. But it was so satisfying.

  15. Except you sit here and make a video about it. Giving the topic attention and continuing the cycle while pretending to call it out. That's called being hypocritical. The real low IQ move isn't arguing with your teammates and slamming sticks on the net? It's getting asked about the childish behavior you exhibit?

  16. Trading Miller is the dumbest thing this Nucks Mgmt can do, especially when JT is the heart and soul of the team. He is the spark plug this introverted team needs in the locker room, to give them all a kick in the ass from time to time. Who gives a shit if Petey doesn't like it…The Alien has been playing like a shitty 3rd liner for a year now. Trade his ass before Miller 1000%.

  17. If you do trade Miller, you only recoup things in the aggregate. If you get a half decent center man, rhd dman and maybe a top 9 winger and some half decent prospects.

    There isn't a current 1 for 1 trade.

You either keep him and work through it, or ir take a trade and get potentially overall better in depth but less impactful.

  18. Problem with media these days is they are hunting headlines. Even worse is that they are inferring their own headlines based off of what ISN’T being said or based on their interpretation of the body language of the person they are asking questions to. Add to that the fact that so much of the hockey media in Vancouver have never played hockey or studied actual hockey strategy and it’s a massive recipe for moronery (yeah, I just made that word up, but it’s fitting 🤣).

  19. Millers attitude is a locker room cancer. Unfortunately he just doesn’t fit in with the team and is causing more issues than the benefit he brings.

  20. The media are causing this problem and its working for them as they get more clicks based off the BS they make up, they literally make up their own lies and stories and it just benefits them and hurts the team. Pretty classless and pathetic and its up to the fans to stand up to them and say its NOT OK.

  21. we should collectively stop watching and engaging with these post game interviews, the reports job is to report so people read. if no one engages their role is useless!

  22. If Miller wants to stay he can do it with one word. Guy has a full NMC. He is not exercising it so it’s clear he wants out. It’s not the Canucks that want to trade him, he’s the one who wants out. And when a player wants out, you are not going to get anywhere near full market value full stop.

  23. It cracks me up that people wonder why so many of the guys are "pissy" with the media, but it's because these are the questions they have to deal with when they're fresh off the ice and just want to shower and go home. Seems like they can't win with media questions, either they're too pissy or they're robots for not showing their emotions.

  24. Actually he says before the female reporter speaks, "You'll have to be more clever than that" in response to a juicy question from the previous reporter. So she says "I'm going to have a try". These reporters love getting a scoop and don't care how dumb, insensitive and ill-timed their questions are. And how those questions will impact the athletes mentality. It's really all about getting a response, so they can write about it for tomorrow. And it's suffocating to see, let alone experience it. Muck-raking bottom feeders the majority of them. If/when JT's goes, Canucks fans are going to be embarrassed at how we fed on this crap.
