  1. no they dont have the tallent to fix this why dont you come up with your own stuff lego rocks your just blowing hot air

  2. The only way I see this have happened where two star players conflict to the point of not being able to play together is if there was a physical assault in the dressing room. My opinion is that an assault happened and Coach sent JT away from the team. A true leader can assess who can handle what type of motivation; yelling, bullying and pointing fingers is a sure way to break a dressing room. I appreciate JT's truckulance but bullying is NOT a team activity, and I , in my opinion, feel JT is a bully in the dressing room. Side note: If JT or EP are traded, can you imagine the resentment between the top two centers? JT will brutilize EP like rarely seen before. It will be UGLY.

  3. Making that trade would be a sackable offence. Keep him and let it work itself out. I would change coaches before making that trade

  4. I thought Canucks does not have any more spot for retain salary if what I read was correct

  5. I want my NY Islanders to trade for Pettersson!
So why not get that trade done and depending what they get from us, they can use a piece or 2 from our trade deal to Vancouver for Pettersson!

  6. Can’t get the deal that makes sense don’t move him the offer the rangers made is no where near enough

  7. If EP would grow up and stop being a secsitive lil girl, they'd get into the playoffs, the Nucks need to forget about buyers coming to their resque

  8. Trading Pettersson at this point would be a HUGE mistake. Miller's clearly unhappy here, and more recent information indicates there's no significant issues between Pettersson and Miller, that was all just a red herring all along, and the real disagreement is with Miller and Tocchett. So either trade Miller or replace Tocchett as coach, or just accept this season is a wash and make the moves in the off season, but think carefully about that, washing out this season can have long term effects on the rest of the team, demoralizing them further and potentially ruining promising young careers or driving other stars away that we'll want to keep.

It may well be that it's best with Miller to cut our losses and get what we can get for him now, then to wait for the situation to deteriorate any further, and if Miller continues down this slide, will we even be able to get what we've got on offer now for him, or will it be a firesale or we're stuck with him for the term of his contract decision? At the rate Miller's going, he's going to have the trade value not of a 100 point player who's encountered a slow season but may bounce back with the right situation, to a player who's past his prime and is now a 60 or 70 point player with attitude problems. Not gonna get as much as the Rangers are offering then for him.

On the other hand, the team could try firing Tocchett and hire another head coach and see what happens there, if that helps change the locker room dynamic enough to revitalize the team. I have no beef with Tocchett and would be sorry to see him go, but if we can't move miller, we may have to move the other guy involved in the dispute and that's Tocchett.

  9. Is they start falling further out of the playoffs they should do a coaching change it’s worked for the oilers, it’s easier than trading one of your best players

  10. If I am Canucks GM, I don't care if we don't make the playoffs. I aint letting make another team makes us their b** and retaining salary on Miller to get scraps back.

  11. If it’s JT plus a prospect (excluding Lekkaramaki and Willander) or pick, or middle 6F and you get Lafrienere and D coming back yeah you should do it

  12. How come nobody is talking about the fact that the defense is small and turns the puck over.. a lot. I think if the goals against went down, they win most of their games. Maybe the press could bring some pressure to bear on that instead of this soap opera crap.

  13. The drama on this team is ridiculous. If somehow they do manage to make the playoffs, they will get booted early.

The problem is the defence; or lack of. The GM needs to own the horrible job he did building that core. Letting Zadorov go was a mistake.

Miller was a 100 point player that will be 32 in a month. The extention has already aged like milk.

The promise they showed last year was all a mirage.

  14. Trade EP and build the the team around JT with more guys like him. Winning cups is more important than pleasing a small crowd of ppl with your DEI management of the roster

  15. I don't know why he wants NYR only. At least open up to NYI and NJ. Of course we are going to lose this deal if NYR only.

    Last I heard:.
Chytil=Disappointing 1st rounder, maybe salvageable as 2nd/3rd liner not sure.

1st round 2025=Bad draft year, maybe not the worst ever but pretty bad.

    Prospect=Who?

Obviously a very bad trade for the Canucks. I am ok to not make the playoffs at this point. We aren't going very deep either way, 1st or 2nd round exit that's it. Too bad we cannot tank for a Bedard this year, since no such player this year.

  16. Miller should go on another "leave of absense" ,everybody else will play better when he's not there (especially petey, but maybe not boeser), & trade him anytime up to the deadline, unless they make the playoffs then play miller in playoffs again, later trade him in offseason

  17. The article almost seems contradictory. If its ONLY ths rangers AND they want a sweetener or salary retention, surely another team would take him on without requiring something else on top (granted the NMC needs to be waived)

  18. Just let the ship sink… regroup in the off season. If the Canucks get their sh*t together and make the playoffs, great.

  19. Connor Garland was in the same boat a couple of years ago, he was allowed to talk to other teams as there were no takers, eventually he decided to stay and has been really good since.

  20. Just keep letting the media at him, he will broaden his list as time goes. lol Also we won’t retain a cent and we won’t take garbage back, so no the trade won’t be done.

  21. Coaching is the issue. We are playing a style that is not suited to our talent level. We are just dumping and chasing, basically turning it over at the opposing team's blue line and our defense are caught flat footed which is already slow by nature creating so many odd man rushes for the other team. If our goalies are onky having an average day, we would be screwed.

  22. I don't know that any team negotiates through the media like the Canucks do. Their front office is so loud, it seems like every year they have these drawn out trade rumors for their players that never end up turning into anything.

  23. Why do you promote this garbage? That’s the only reason I’m here…to try and shut it down. Rumours. Gossip
