Leafs have shown me nothing to think that they will perform better in this season's playoffs than seasons past.
the fact he attempted to kick the puck in and he makes contact after the fact should be a dissallowed goal, Leafs didnt challenge because we all want to see a battle of ontario in the playoffs again. Leafs will beat them like they always do 😂😂😂
Leafs have to score more against lesser teams. Anyone betting on one goal saving them is often going to be disappointed.

Waiting to see my Eye Specialist about my Cataracts & w/everything online being a light grey font colour on a white background combined w/very fuzzy vision…. Yeah, reading is not fun & very painful ATM. At least here I can flip to white font & black background. Much easier to see.

As for last night…I also thought they were the better team last night. I especially don’t get why Morgan's getting dumped on. As you said, that was his best game in a long time, so that doesn’t¡t make sense to me. The real problem last night was, as it has been all Season long….

How many rebounds happened w/no one in front to put it in!?! I lost count!! It's late January & I know old habits die hard, but good grief!! It's the edge of fewer games in the Season & not only can they not do that in the Playoffs, but Knies can't do it by himself either.

Thanks again for the Trade video & for last night too. I've been in horrific Abdominal Pain for a month & at last count…
2 trips to Emerg, 1 by Ambulance, MRI w/out contrast, 2 CT Scans, w/& w/out contrast & the most brutally painful Ultrasound I've ever had. Wasn't till the CT w/contrast done last Monday they finally found something. What has me scared is the Dr I saw in Emerg last weekend, & ordered that Scan Monday, called me at 8 this morning to tell me they’d found something & she’s referred me to a General Surgeon. When I asked how long that would take to see him, she told me not long in cases like these.
Now I'm officially scared. You & I both know how the Health Care system in this Province is broken. From the sound of it, they’re really moving things along & after a month of hellish agony it's about time, but…Yeah.
Why it took so long to get that contrast scan? I'm a Kidney Transplant Recipient & that contrast can be hard on Kidneys, therefore the Radiologist was too scared to give it to me. Even though Transplant wanted it & gave their okay for it, he still wouldn't do it. I think the combo 2nd trip to Emerg was by Ambulance +and+ an Emerg Dr wanting to help me. Usually, Drs are so chicken to even try once they hear my Medical History, so at least she's trying..
That was a long winded way to say Thank you, Adam, Jesse & the Chatters on the Streams for giving me something to smile &/or laugh about over this month. Even though it hurts like Hell to laugh, it still helped. & now I'm off to watch this week's WOW!! Likely have my mind blown a few times too. 😁 Take Care!! 😊
They were good not great but I love watching whether they win or not. I was 8 when they won the cup.
Another game they fail to generate goals, this happens to frequently and its an on-going issue. Scoring one goal won't win you many games, they played on the perimeter and created zero traffic, Sens goalie saw everything all night. Until they get forwards that are willing to pay the price expect the same outcome.

7:40 The rulebook specifically states under section 11, subsection B, line C… That if the puck is propelled in the net off of your knee or thigh, it does NOT count if you are a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. It says that right in the rulebook, I’ve seen it with my own eyes! 👀

I appreciate the difficulty in detaching bias from opinion. But look at it objectively—the puck took a bounce off his knee and then his leg moved, he did not kick it in. Blame physics/gravity all you want but not the player, refs or the league etc. The kicking motion was clearly separate from the bounce. It’s not at all “virtually the same” as the leafs example referenced although I understand the urge to claim it is to strengthen a case of some grand injustice or unfair inconsistencies going on.. sorry this wasn’t a maradona hand of god scenario 😂 and I’m speaking as someone who is not a fan of either the leafs or the sens btw. I know nobody likes seeing their team lose, but come on now… we have the benefit of slow mo high def replays. The right call was made.

I once spoke with someone that worked with the NHLPA many years ago. And he eluded to the fact that the NHL is fabricated, results are known before the game ever starts.

Berube's guys should have challenged the call for sure-I totally agree. Also, I don't think the Leafs got up for the game, maybe they don't get the "Battle of Ontario" idea, maybe it doesn't matter enough to the guys, it's just media hype.
I think Berube doesn't want to trash the team in public, he wants to support them, but what does he say in the dressing room? I can't imagine that he liked the game.

The Leafs are just not a good playoff team right now. Generating consistent offense has been an utter slog, especially for what should be a top flight first line. Wasting way too much of the offense possession passing the puck around – when just shooting the damn thing and getting bizarro pinball bounces is precisely what wins those games against you. PPs are especially egregious. How do you have a PP with only one shot or no shots on net? What were you doing during that PP?
